YouTube releases list of top 10 most watched k-pop music videos of 2015 and channels with most growt

YouTube has released its yearly roundup list for its most popular videos and channels in Korea. The list is compiled from videos uploaded from November 24, 2014 to November 23, 2015. YG Entertainment was a big winner this year with BIGBANG‘s “Bang Bang Bang” music video being the most watched K-pop music video of 2015 and the group’s channel showing the most growth this year. SM Entertainment groups like Girls’ Generation and EXO were also up there in the top, with miss A from JYP Entertainment ranking number eight with “Only You.” 4Minute from Cube Entertainment, the only non- BIG 3 agency, made the top 10 list with “Crazy.”

The list of Korean channels that showed the most growth had the usual players from K-pop, as well as some unique and personal channels. ToyPudding channel, which uploads videos of children’s toys ranked number four, KBS World TV showed a lot of popularity due to “The Return of Superman,” and guitarist Jung Sung Ha’s channel ranked number eight.

I'm glad to see JYP channel there because JYP Ent. had a good year with Miss A, Wonder Girls, Twice, Got7, Day6, Baek A Yeon, and the 15& solos.

I'm not surprised to see Bangx3 at the first place. It really seems to be the most popular song of them this year in Korea. And I find the bang bang bang screamed with that weird voice GDragon does really entertaining.

I love BB and all (and probably contributed to some of the views bc i didn't instantly love any of their songs this year, so i keep the MVs on repeat until it's catching up on me), but YAAASS 4MINUTE YAAAAAS. Going by this list, Miss A was one of the biggest female comebacks of the year. What happened? Oh wait, no, they were overshadowed by JYP and the comeback he just HAD to have right then. I remember now.

the problem wasn't even jyp's comeback, but the fact that they didn't promote the girls at all, all we got was three weeks promotions and that was that, no variety shows, photo shoots or anything of the kind, and the song was the biggest selling song by a girl group through most of the year before being surpassed, and it still is on top 5.

I'm probably in laaarge minority (compared to the rest of omonians), but i liked every BB realise this year, except "Let's not fall in love". I mean, it is a good song, but not as good and as catchy as Bae Bae (my fav, total jam) and Bangx3.
And I'm really happy about 4minute's Crazy - that chorus tho, that beat!! Great realise, esp after all these "...?" songs.

bangx3 is mierda idk why stans get so defensive? bigbang/ikon/2ne1 stans r so OTT and the moment someone says they dont like a song by their fav is because theyre "mad" instead of HMMM idono, the song not being that great? most of u people don't like snsd's party and no one says shit.

you seriously just answered your own question. Most stans wouldnt have such an issue if people didnt say bangx3 was a piece of shit as if it were a pure fact. If you don't like it thats cool but plenty of others do so the "I don't get why its so popular its trash" comments get pretty old real quick.
