On a popular online community called Instiz, netizens recounted a chilling story of an EXO sasaeng who appeared while EXO members were streaming live through the V app.Below is a translation of what exactly happened while the members were streaming.


This happened recently on the 4th while EXO was streaming and chatting to their fans.


Chanyeol and Sehun were chatting with their fans via chat,


Some one called Sehun’s phone literally every 3 minutes.


Chanyeol: Hey set your phone to vibrate

When the phone calls didn’t stop, Sehun became angry and yelled at the person over the phone.

Sehun: Who is this. STOP CALLING ME!

The phone calls, however, didn’t stop and the broadcast soon ended.








On EXO’s most recent stream, this mysterious phone call persisted.




Baekhyun : Which part do you start with when you’re eating fish shaped bread?

Chanyeol : Umm…I start with the head

Suho: I start withhhh the fins.



This time it was Chanyeol who continuously got calls.





Chanyeol: Hello? Who is this?


Chanyeol: A stranger keeps calling and asking for oppa.

Suho: (laughs like a grandpa)

Chanyeol: Can we reveal the number that’s been calling us? I guess no right?…



Sehun: Ahh..I’m getting calls from an unknown number..



Chanyeol: Is it 5474?

Sehun: Ya ya



Suho: It’s not 4885?

Chanyeol: Nope, it was 5474 just now.

i just watched the broadcast and.... D: i didn't think the calls in the other v app video were sasaengs too, this is terrible! i can't imagine what they go through on a daily basis jesus christ, these people need to take a step back. sehun actually showed the number to the camera and the fans on twitter were spreading it around. this person needs to be scared for their life now tbh

but they're calling with a visible number, why aren't they blocking it. i used to get calls from someone in the middle of the night for a few weeks and there was an app that blocked all calls and messages from that number, it was a blessing

To make it even worse showing the number of the sasaengs wouldn't really help because what they want is attention of any kind. Showing their numbers would probably make them call more because "oppa talked about me on the stream!!1"

You just need to bride someone from a phone company to get their number... Like someone in my family has access to the numbers of maybe half ot the country with a simple name search, good thing that he's someone righteous and careful with his job. I'm not too surprised that saesangs would get their numbers, but it's still awful.
If only SM would take legal action against this behaviour, since it's harrassment... but profit comes first right...

oh man, the level of entitlement some fans feel just astounds me. you have to be so unhinged to think calling your favourite idol every three minutes endlessly is a good idea. all famous people have to deal with this kind of stuff but at least in some other countries, there's laws which back up the idol, whereas no one in korea seems to even take it that seriously?!

the companies could take legal actions honestly but they're iffy about losing their money source since most sasaengs are filthy rich and provide so much $$$ to them.
i mean who in their right mind would track exo down wherever in the planet they are and buy endless amount of shit related to them unless they have the time and resources to waste?

Can someone make up a service to buy cellphones for idols with out of the country numbers? Something really needs to be done, some people need to be arrested.

Without sasaengs being actively rooted out and punished by police the only options for idols are to make the most of this extremely shitty situation or something that would inconvience them. I'm gonna suggest cutting off actual phone service and just using wifi and free texting/calling apps.

Ugh I really feel bad for idols regardless whether I like them or not. Being harassed by phone calls every day has got to take a toll on them mentally.

For those asking about how sasaengs have their info, they get hired at jobs where they can get info on them such as airlines, telephone companies, banks, etc so they pretty much have all the confidential info on the idols lol

I don't know if applies to them but I'm going to guess getting these info of people and using it for personal reasons is illegal. So I doubt no one would want to do that to a government official because they don't need to appeal to their "fans" so they would probably get in a lot of problems. With actors I think is similar. Even if they have fan clubs and I guess saesangs, they don't need them, they only need the love of the general public to get casted and cfs. So I suppose they can stop them without being scared of losing their income. While idols, well their companies, want to please their fans so they keep buying their products and don't want to take action against them.
Or maybe I'm totally wrong, but that's my guess.

Nah, they gotta start REALLY clapping back at these psycho kids. I don't care if it's a teenage girl, you do not get to harass, stalk, bully and abuse someone just because they are a celeb and you 'love' them. SME needs to be doing far more in terms of security, they should be ensuring all the EXO kids phones are well protected and that they have high level security at their dorms.
Even if SME doesn't care about the kids themselves, it's a smart business investment to keep your moneymakers safe.
As for these fans...honestly, I'd sue them and/press charges. I think it's ridic that EXO are so worried about their image that they don't want to speak too sternly on this. They are putting their own lives at risk just so they don't upset ALL their fans.

No one should ever have to deal with this level of harassment. I wish they didn't acknowledge it on broadcast, though, I feel like that might have encouraged them even more?

Honestly I don't see anybody doing anything about this. Sasaengs have so much clout from doing all sorts of promotion, bulk-buying albums, giving expensive gifts, having all sorts of dirt on idols etc. that the companies aren't willing to piss them off. If something like Yunho almost dying didn't lead to a crackdown in sasaeng behavior, idols getting called a few times on broadcast certainly isn't going to do it.

Wasn't Yunho's incident an anti and not a saesang? IIRC they pretended to be a staff member and gave a Yunho OJ mixed with super glue. Apparently they hated seeing Yunho laugh on TV when they were going through hard times. Fucked up.
