Yep. I'm not saying he is someone to praise or especially nice, I'm not even a "fan", but I don't think he is more creepy than the usual in straight men, even compared to a lot of the idols people here idolize, I guess because he is not cute/good looking the pass they give to others he doesn't have it. And he seems to try to take care of all the idols that go to that show. I'm pretty sure he paid some of the gifts they receive.
I don't know, life is not black or white, and I feel like people go too hard. I probably didn't mind that much if their faves got the same respond.

He was on that international WGM with Heechul, Heechul invited Sunggyu and Jia. Heechul said they're meeting other females, the boys got excited when they found out they're meeting a female idol, but Sunggyu was the only one who looked disappointed when he found out it was Jia. It was all over his face, it was so obvious that Heechul pointed it out; Heechul or the PD, I forgot. He tried to denied it soon after, but it was obvious.
