Baekhyun is doing a drama with Kang Ha Neul and possibly Lee Jun Ki

According to an insider, Baekhyun from EXO will join the cast of Moon Lovers; SM Entertainment associate has also confirmed that he is looking at the role favorably.

Moon Lovers will be a remake of the popular Chinese drama Scarlet Heart, also known as Startling by Each Step. It will be directed by Producer Kim Kyu Tae, of It's Okay, It's Love.

Actors Lee Jun Ki and Kang Ha Neul are set to appear; the show is already garnering a lot of attention as it will be co-produced by Universal Studios in America. The broadcast station and the airtime are yet to be determined.

This will be Baekhyun's debut in a drama, as well as the second member of EXO to work with Producer Kim Kyu Tae, after D.O.

Lee Jun Ki was discussed but hasn't confirmed, pretty sure Kang Ha Neul is doing this because it's unofficially determined that his movie with Park Bo Young isn't happening because the shooting got delayed to mid-December and Kang Ha Neul already signed for the drama. Ugh.

I've been kind of side eyeing this remake of 步步惊心 but since I love Lee Jun Ki in most of his sageuks I was waiting. I'm not saying Baekhyun can't act but...is he a Prince? Which one? Jun Ki and Ha Neul are probably 4 and 8.

Also the female lead will make or break this drama...so who is it?

Oh... he could do that. 10th was a bit comedic in that he was a bit of a brat and fights with his chosen wife a lot. He fell in love with Ruo Xi first too.

Well he already got that movie with Yeo Jin Goo (is that still happening bc there were shots from Xiu shooting his&SeungHo(?) one, but as I recall nothing from that side) so maybe it's gonna be the same as with Soo, doing movie, but drama he did later was released first? i can't imagine kang ha neul as 8th at all... maybe 13th at a stretch?? he's too young to play 8th. hong jong hyun is probably up for 14th (why tho, he's awful). god this cast.... jfc
