DI TALKS RANIA'S HISTORY

On November 11, during RaNia's showcase for new release, 'Demonstrate,' member Di could not hold back the tears as she talked about their hiatus that had lasted for two years and eight months. They were asked what aspects had changed over that period of time.

Di replied, "It has been four to five years since we debuted, but we are ruminating over our new resolve to return and basically start over again as rookies. There were a lot of hard aspects while we rested, it was hard on our hearts, and more, but we will work hard from hereon," and gave up trying to stop the tears from falling down her face.

Seeing this, the other members who had gone through the hardships with her, Xia and T-ae, likewise began to cry. As a domino effect, the new members, Seul-ji and Hye-me shed tears.

After getting ahold of her feelings, Di continued, "People who debuted with us kept on promoting, but only we were taking a break, and we took a break unwillingly, so all that was hard on us. Now there will be no instances of my insides boiling thanks to the members. I can do this with good friends whom I feel comfortable around, which is so nice, hence I think only good things will happen from now on."

She chose her members' great friendship as the thing that helped her endure it all, stating, "I've known the members who have been here the longest, Xia and T-ae, for a long time. It's been eight to nine years. I think we always gave each other strength while doing this together. Whenever I say I want to give up. Even before debut. Whenever the date for our debut got pushed back, I would say if I should give up, and we would give each other the strength to endure, which is how I think we got to last this long."

As Rania's unofficial PR person on Omona I'm gonna address this myself lol. I would link to the actual article but it's from a banned site so I'll just summarize:
There's an article on a certain site that is asking questions about Alexandra Reid's age (thanks to a couple of comments in an Omona post I made about Rania actually smh) & suggesting that makes her sketchy which is fair because nobody has ever lied about their age before in Kpop or the music industry...
Anyway, yes Alex was on a reality show in the US when she was younger but she was ELEVEN at the start not 15. So #actually it's very likely she really is 21 or at most 22.

I talked about it on twitter and like, Alex stated on the show that she was 15 and Wikipedia says she was actually 13, which makes her 24-26 years old and you know, I don't see anything wrong. It just speaks loads on the kpop industry and the public if they get on her case about being in her mid-twenties and some of them will stan teenagers as young as 12-14.

I seriously don't understand companies don't debut trainees who are older than 22 years old that often.

Based on what other people are saying, it's more likely she lied when she was younger to get on the show. People that watched it then says that caused problems with the show, she was also good friends with Bobbi Kristina who was 22 this year.
I don't think Alex should have to clarify but it does look more likely she's closer to 21 than not. It would be nice if she explained it but...oh well.
Otherwise, ITA it's a shame that people are okay with stanning actual children but someone past 22 is 'too old'.

i remember falling in love w dr feel good (and burning my knees learning the dance lmao). their debut seems like it was ages ago. i was worried when they were on break but they seem stronger than ever now. without the support of each other, like di mentioned, they definitely would've fallen apart.

If you're reading, sorry for the confusion, I promise you that page said she was eleven when I first made this post, she was also good friends with Bobbi Kristina's daughter, who was 22 this year, so I stand by what I said unless Alex says otherwise. That is the information I had and I will trust that unless Alex or Dr.Music clarifies.
The wiki page that links to her age shows that it was EDITED 5 hours ago. So...lol I guess we don't know.

No, you're right. You did see 11. You can actually look at the revision history on wiki pages and see pretty much every change that's ever been made to them by date. I noticed that in the last month or pretty much since Rania's comeback people (I assume kpop fans) have been editing the page. Her age has changed multiple times in the month so I went back and looked at the way past edits to see. It's said she was 15 for years until recently. I think some fan changed it to 11 then there was a lot of back and forth in the edits and now it says 15 again which it's always said.

But really her age doesn't really matter. People just want a reason to complain about her.
