Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, currently promoting as a solo artist, has revealed a few of her makeup secrets on her OnStyle reality program “Daily Taeng9 Cam.”

On the November 7 broadcast, Taeyeon says, “Many people have been curious about how I do my makeup.” Keeping her eyes wide open, she applies a long line of eyeliner. Drawing the line a little longer to the side highlights her round eyes.

“It’s important that your eyes look bigger without overdoing it,” she says. “Rather than the eyeliner, focus on the eyeshadow.”

The reality program, popular for its insight on the idol member’s daily life, has been extended for another episode. On November 7, OnStyle said, “Because of the fans’ passionate support, we have extended “Daily Taeng9 Cam” from the original four episodes to five. We hope to show another level of Taeyeon’s lively everyday life so please anticipate it.”

This is Taeyeon’s first solo reality program. The November 7 broadcast also goes behind the scenes of TaeTiSeo’s overseas schedules. With close friends Tiffany and Seohyun, also of Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon jokes around in the hotel room and plays board games.

“Daily Taeng9 Cam” airs on OnStyle on Saturdays at noon KST.

Korean cosmetics brand Nature Republic has renewed their exclusive modeling contracts with SM Entertainment artists EXO and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon. They have been modeling for the brand since 2013.

“We decided to renew their contracts because EXO and Taeyeon have done a good job of portraying our brand’s natural concept,” a representative from Nature Republic said. “They are global stars with huge fanbases, so they are a good fit as we take off into the global market.”

The brand is planning to launch a variety of marketing activities to target the youth market and holding customer appreciation events to advertise their core products and increase the brand’s approachability.

I learned that for mere mortals like us people that don't have Taeyeon's half moon eyes, you can put like a white or a beige line under the outer corners of your eye and put shadow under that.

Wait are those charts just from October? Ssslay queen!!!!!! I wonder how f(x) did after her tho? Like what are the sales for them now?

PS: I also quit Nature Republic after they discontinued their Original Power blemish ampoule. :( I still have their snail cream but I'm just waiting to finish that before I move on and be out in the market for another good moisturizer. I love Taeyeon campaigning for them though but I just hope they come up with a new product that works well with my skin. I used to love their skincare more than most brands and I can't seem to get into their makeup because I'm stuck with other better brands honestly.

I have a lot of products I want to try, but not enough patience to order them anywhere except amazon with prime shipping. I just ordered the Face Shop Oil Control Water cushion, and am hoping it works well. Other than that Banila's clean it zero is my favorite thing that I have.
