What maknae is doing these days?
I am preparing for our new comeback. (This interview was done before October 1, Lovelyz’s comeback) Our title song is Ah-Choo just like sound of sneeze. We call it season changing concept. It’s lovely and fresh just like the colour of Lovelyz.
What’s good thing being a Maknae?
Actually there is something that people understand even though I make mistakes because I am a maknae. I am the first child in my house so I did not have aegyo but as a maknae in lovelyz, I learned aegyo. Other members in Lovelyz does everything for me when I do aegyo saying “why is she like that”.
Role of maknae
I usually hold the doors waiting for everyone to come out and lock the door.
The older members in maknae’s eyes
Babysoul unnie is a good leader. I can’t imagine Lovelyz without her. Jiae and Kei unnie is like my mom they are also good at cooking. Jisoo unnie knows a lot, I ask her what colours to match when wearing clothes because she majored in art. Mijoo unnie is the atmosphere maker. Jin unnie is off the wall. She is an emotional vocal but is really funny at the same time. Sujeong unnie treats me like her own sister.
Maknae’s hobby
I started to read the novel ‘Please Look after Mom’ we share books. Soul unnie has all the books from Keigo Higashino. I also run and dance in the big practice room in Woollim. I started to do this for diet but it also relieves stress. Because I couldn’t to it for a long time, I really want to do it.
Maknae’s physical constitution
I used to think that I’m the type that does not gain weight easily but I started to eat chocolate bars and noticed there is no such type like that.
Maknae’s ideal type
Who has their own attraction? I don’t care about how he looks. Even though they have bad personality, they look attractive when they do their own work
Dream of maknae
Being good at everything. I want to become a maknae like gold.
Personality of maknae
I go in to something deeply. Simple, optimistic, and sometimes think a lot. I work hard to go well with everyone.

Maknae's name
The name was by the company's CEO. The meaning of 'Umji (Thumbs up') was reminiscent of the cute little name Thumbelina (Umji's predebut name). The man named 'Magpie' has also a girlfriend who's name was 'Thumb'. 'GFriend' is also because of our team's name. When it's holiday, the maknae goes home. 'Me Gustas Tu activity period these days ends with a life oriented practices.
Role of maknae
The role of the youngest is to be loved by the words and actions by the adults and by having baby looks. The unnies are often worried for me. The unnies gave me the nickname 'Dilly' and call me with a slow tempo. I'm both the youngest among the six GFriends and the youngest in the house.
The older members in maknae’s eyes
When I first met Sowon unnie, she was so tall and the red hair gave off the aura. The moments she gets close to you, I thought of except a moment of charm, fun and charisma. Yerin unnie likes to be clean and tidy. The leader for rich in cleaning, we call her 'Yerin Power'. Eunha unnie is feminine and quiet, many have already heard and verified who laughs. Yuju unnie is meticulous and attentive. She's the mature one among us. She is also good in mimicking other people. (Birthday in 2 months, please come fast). I'm comfortable with SinB, maybe because we have the same age. I mean it is also natural to be with her the most closely
Maknae's pouch
There are several tools that fill the bag of the maknae. Even how much the bag carries, I use zippered bags to divide each. Sunblock, mist, pens, mirror and MP3 player.
Maknae's dislikes
I don't like dark clothes or similar to that. I don't like items with scary skeletons on it. Rock or heavy metal of course, I like heavy music rather than a gentle song. I listen to that kind of songs when I'm walking alone in the park.
Maknae's dreams
To continue hearing the good music of the team called 'GFriend'. I want to travel with my family all over the place. The dream now, isn't it enough and supposedly to be around the world?

Maknae’s Personal Belongings
I’ve only brought along my tumbler with me. It is a present from our leader unnie. I like cold water. I brought it filled with water and ice from the dorm.
Maknae’s Recent Activity
Because it isn’t our promotion period, we had spent time more easily. I’m practicing rap and singing, as well as working out. Sometimes, I spend time with my family and meet friends if I’m in school. I am a second year high-schooler. I like talking with friends at school, to share interesting talks. I am amazed when friends personally arrange and covering songs or music instruments.
Maknae’s Blood Type
B blood type. All the unnies are A type. I am more comfortable at talking straightforwardly. If there are anything unnies would want to talk to me, they would consult each other, so that I won’t be hurt.
Maknae’s Role
Everyone’s vitamin? I have a bright side, so people around me would be excited if I am excited. The unnies said I’m like a father too. It seems like I am taking care of the unnies. “It’s okay, just trust and follow me.” Like this. Looking at how gentle the unnies have become, there are people who often ask if I am the leader.The good thing about being a maknae, rather than ‘because she’s the maknae’, I could enjoy people saying ‘although she’s the maknae.’ The unnies would always give me chance to choose something first. I think that our unnies are the best. I am always thankful.
Maknae’s Playlist
I’ve just realized it recently, that I have 15 songs from IU sunbaenim. I like songs that gently moves your heart. I also would like to recommend songs like ‘Your Meaning (‘너의 의미’) and ‘If Love Passes’ (‘사랑이 지나가면’). Not just IU-sunbaenim’s songs, but also the original song as well.
Maknae’s Ideal Type
A person that gives you a good vibe at first impression. There are people who would get close to you easily even if they are strangers.
Maknae’s Dream
That are many things I want to do. Compose, music broadcast MC, acting and more. But, now it’s CLC first. I hope that the day to hold a CLC concert would come soon. Another small wish other than activities, is to visit different landmarks. Although I am not good in history, I like learning about them through visiting historical sites and palaces. Yesterday on a date with my mother, we went to ChangGyungGong too.
Maknae’s Vitamin
My family. I rely more on my family than friends. Although I would love to meet all family members, meeting alternately and going to different places one at a time with my mother, father, and sister is fun too.

In a few days (Vogue Girl November issue was taken on october 8th) the 2nd mini album will be finished with preparations
Maknae’s playing
talking and playing around with members. We found youn nori at the company so we played with that. We also turn off all the lights in the practice room and play hide and seek.
Maknae’s personality
Calm for the most part. I’m the youngest of the group but the oldest at my house, I try my best to look after the unnies quietly. I am in charge of the laundry and bathroom cleaning with Hyojung, Yooa, and Seunghee. Hyojung unnie helped me a lot.
Maknae’s change according to the unnies
They told me I was like a baby when they first met me. But since then, I lost a lot of my baby fat and am growing. When we first debuted, it was hard for me to keep the formation for our choreography but I’m getting better.
Maknae’s view of unnies
Hyojung unnie is like a mom. She makes us food in the morning and does the laundry for us by herself. JinE unnie makes sure we eat healthy foods a lot, and Mimi unnie is very pure unlike her charismatic aura on stage. Yooa unnie is very feminine. I think it’s also very cute that she turns on the candle in every room. Seunghee unnie takes care of us a lot like the eldest unnie, and she balances us out when we practice. I feel like with Jiho unnie, we are close friends. When we went to the same school it was fun. My age difference with Binnie unnie isn’t that much but she approaches me first and makes me feel comfortable.

Maknae’s hobby
Is to watch movies or music shows at the dorms. sometimes I read nail art books and come up with new ideas for myself or for the unnies or staff at our company. When I’m at home I do it for my mom.

Maknae’s advantages
Most of the unnies are really mature so they take care of me a lot. Even when I’m immature, they accept it. When I complain about being tired, they tell stories or watch tv with me.
