for the first time in a year plus i tried to watch at least a bit of each performance.

i'm liking a lot of the girl groups. i could listen to full performances of some without moving my facial muscles too much (which is a good thing i swear!!! i can awwww with a straight face, but when there's stand out bad notes i have to cringe).
- closer is lovely. i wasn't sure to think the first couple of times, but my cursor keeps clicking play again. other than the bit in the chorus that seems super out of place choreo-wise, i like the feel of it. + the first girl legit looks like a doll?? i like this style so much better than their generic cute cupid debut.
- ooh-aah was so smart to separate the two voice types rather than to try to make them all blend together.
- a-choo gives me such a japanese anime vibe, but it's sweet and the dancing is sharp.
- friend's boyfriend is cute! (BUBBLES)

but i wish they'd figure out a winking system. when one girl does it two, three times in one shot, or two girls do it consecutively, i want to spork someone.

WAIT WHAT i just looked these groups up - other than the oldest two of dia, they're all 94-99? i know i have to come to terms with my age being the cut off age for girl groups now, but it still feels so strange. i don't know how to feel about a large number of young high school girls dancing and being very very cute on television broadcasts song after song. it feels ............. :|

also ugh f(x) so great. amber looks SO good this comeback, and krystal is absolutely stunning, her legs in those leather pants for diamond always give me so much envy. victoria and luna's charisma is off the charts too. singing wise diamond was not as great but 4 walls always delivers.

Vic's outfit for 4 Walls..... I like Diamond but idk I always feel like something is missing with the performance. I do like that they give the spotlight and like point out the person singing throughout tho

I think this is the first (and probably will be the only) time that I've ever followed a group's comeback this closely by watching all of their performances on all music shows
