JYJ received the Prime Minister Commendation at ‘2015 Korean Pop Culture Awards’.
Its agency CJeS Entertainment said, “JYJ received the prime minister citation as the first one among idol groups. The three members united to attend the award and delivered their appreciations for the fans.”
The group appeared at the event site as a whole group after Kim Jaejoong enlisted in the army in March. Many fans from all over the world came to the event site to support the group.
JYJ said, “We really appreciate everyone for inviting us to this honored site and the award. It took seven months for us to gather at an official site. We will try our best to spread Korean culture to the world.”

I'm extremely happy, but I also mad because of the whole situation. look at all these people receiving this award with them.. all of them are allowed to work, but NOT JYJ. I'm happy that they're still relevant despite everything, but it's enraging that a group that even received a prime minister award is still blacklisted and can't promote as singers. and the fact that every single person knows why and still nothing is done against it. I'm pretty sure that when the first broadcast decides to not give a fuck for sm and allow them to promote, all the others will do the same. we only need one crazy PD.

But Junsu seemed to have a lot of confusion about it, looked like he was asking an usher if he was supposed to bring it on stage, and then the ribbon they were given was placed on the flagpole instead of given to one of them. It might have been done for ceremonial reasons by the event staff. I dunno. They were the only group honored so we don't have anything to compare it to.
It was hilarious, regardless.
And Junsu was a beast. Yesterday sounded wonderful.
