f(x) sweeps S. Korean, Chinese charts with ’4 Walls’

SEOUL (Yonhap) — South Korean girl group f(x), beleaguered by the recent exit of member Sulli, returned with a vengeance Tuesday, opening on top of South Korean and Chinese music charts with its fourth album “4 Walls.”

“4 Walls,” the title track of the namesake album, soared past IU’s “Twenty-three” on seven South Korean charts, including Melon, Olleh Music, Genie and Bugs, as of 8 a.m.

It also topped China’s Baidu King chart, whose top 20 included the remaining nine tracks from the album.

“4 Walls” is the first album by f(x) since Sulli left in August. The 21-year-old has kept a low profile since last year when malicious rumors about her relationship with Choiza of the hip-hop group Dynamic Duo surfaced.

f(x) is now comprised of Victoria, Luna, Amber and Krystal.

A part if me is glad that Sulli left so that at least now SM is paying some attention to them. When RV debuted(even though i adore them) i thought fx will be forgotten becaise rv represents an sm band( spectacular visuals ie) I hope my baes continue their slayage (justice for the queens)

lol omona (in general) is super sensitive about sulli right now, you can't even say slightly negative/indifferent IMHO things about her without getting snapped at. I do empathize with her fans, though, because I didn't want her to leave f(x) either and she did suffer unfair, constant abuse from k-netizens.
