Someone randomly made up a rumor making it sound like a blind item that alluded to GD and Taeyeon dating but fans found out it was false.

False blind item: Top girl group member A is dating again. She's always been rumored to be one to date those she works closely with, and this time it's 'B' from a top of top boy group. They're both long timers of the industry but barely came in contact other than exchanging greetings. By introduction of friends, they were finally able to meet up and get closer. B has been exhausted from a public but not really public relationship and seems to have developed feelings for A also in part to her resemblance to his first love, singer C. A also discovered that B shared many similarities with herself and fell for him completely. Both have considerable fan bases and the news will certainly bring about a huge impact but they seem to be willing to take the risk for their relationship."

The rumor was traced back to a DC Gallery where the users were talking about how they took the prank too far and they're scared they're going to be arrested for spreading false rumors and how they didn't expect it to spread that fast.

GD does not match up to Taeyeon's boyfriend standards, even Bacon's better than him.

This fake story reminds me of how I somehow ended up reading about sasaeng fans and y'all....I still think dating 'scandals' (actually i don't like using that word to refer to that) are ridiculous but I now COMPLETELY understand why Kpop celebs keep their private lives so on lock.
