Cheetah Adopts a Shelter Cat

Charismatic rapper/singer/model/designer/businesswoman/philanthropist Cheetah has just adopted her third child, an adorable shelter cat named d'Artagnan. According to sources close to the artist (aka fans she brings with her to volunteer at animal shelters), both mother and child are doing well and are at home resting.
Fans have shared more heartwarming photos of both mother and son during their departure from the shelter, which you can check out below.
The baby is named after Charles Ogier de Batz de Castelmore, Comte d'Artagnan, who served King Louis XIV as captain of the Musketeers of the Guard, and whose life has been fictionalized by Alexandre Dumas in the d'Artagnan Romances, most famously including The Three Musketeers.
Cheetah has been planning the adoption for some time, as evidenced by an instagram update posted eight weeks ago in which the rapper expresses her delight at the prospect of welcoming a new member into her family. Little d'Artagnan joins Cheetah's two other adopted children, Gurum and Buri, who were recently photographed in matching baby strollers on a family outing.

She asks for attention all the time, which I'm not used to, because all the previous ones I had were stray cats.
When I was studying in another city we had the most beautiful cat I have ever seen. Until each one of us had to leave the house and my roomate took it to her house and I never saw her again U_U

Date: 2015-10-25 04:54 pm (UTC)I had the worst day on thursday re my pets. Someone opened the gate to my backyard and all 3 of my dogs got out. I found 2 of them easily because they were just across the street, following people walking their dogs. But I was running around my whole neighbourhood, at dusk, looking for the other one and freaking out because he's blind, diabetic, not wearing his collar, and a beagle, who are just noses on legs. Thankfully we found him eventually because someone in the neighbourhood took him.

But maine coons are amazing cats, they are known to being very talkative and make chirping noses besides the normal meowing nose. And are super chill and friendly.
