Youngjae is so middle child, you can clearly tell the difference between him as dongsaeng (like him with Jaebum or Jackson) and him as hyung (here). I love his softer approach to dongsaeng rearing compared to the elders.

When I first watch just right mv, I was startled because he suddenly become very appealing to me. He starts to be less awkward in front of the camera during this era too. His roaring laugh during almost every group interview is endearing xD
Aw you could see from the later videos that the boys have warmed up and got really good at talking. Even Mark! I love how they're just sharing personal stories in this one. Youngjae is an interesting child I love him. And Yugyeom sounds like he has everything and the go-to person if you need to borrow stuff or space.

Omg they are the heelys generation... I feel so old. The way Youngjae dotes on Yugyeom is very subtle, not outright like 2jae or jackjae.
Youngjae seems to have lived a different life before debut. Handing out flyers, PC repairs as part-time jobs. It must have been surreal. Probably the same for Mark too. I bet he's never rode on a bus before he moved to SK.
i really like that about youngjae - he seems the most down-to-earth out of all the boys! idk it might have to do with his short training period...he seems to have a steady mind and heart, considering he probably envisioned his life in a completely different way (before joining jype) and had more real-life experiences (longer schooling, etc)

I'm not from there not do I know anything about the general area of where mark is from , but when my aunt came back to visit my family in nyc she was surprised at the bus/subway system (she hadn't ridden one in years) - and I have friends at school from Cali who were so surprised when we took them via public transportation to visit the city.
It depends where you're from though, the LA area doesn't have great public transportation but the San Francisco./Bay Area has great public transportation...Mark is from the LA area so they probably drove everywhere

Gosh I love Youngjae. I'm so happy he has gotten out of his shell and has been able to show his personality more. Tbh during their debut I thought he was just boring, but nowadays I'm starting to think he's my fave. Even though it feels impossible to pick a bias from this group.
I feel like he's one of the most genuine of the bunch (sometimes I feel like some of them "reinforce" an aspect of their personality to fit a certain image that they want to portray).
during their debut, I think he was just afraid/not used to anything. he didn't have a lot of training and wasn't even really close the other members. this probably took a huge part on why he was quiet and "boring" at the beginning. I think we can see how much more confident he is now by the amount of random english conversations that he had during this era. lol
Youngjae is such an interesting person. I remember one interview in which JB spoke about constantly being worried about Youngjae because he seemed to take everything so "cooly" and how he kept asking him if he was actually okay or just pretending. He has such an accomodating personality and pulls the team together from the middle. Baby deserves more credit.
I love his relationship with Yugyeom and I'm glad more people are noticing them. Their interactions are subtle so they don't get caught on camera as often, but he dotes on Yugyeom so much.
I saw someone commented that he decided to take Jackson's approach to learning a new language, threw away his ego and just speak the language even though it might not be correct, you learn by making mistakes.
When JB said that Youngjae is like the mini version of him, I guess it's somewhat proven by how he's the leader of the maknae-line, it's cute! I'm so glad that everyone in this band is grateful with Youngjae's middle child-like presence instead of shunning him because of the ~awkward~ position. JB is definitely pleased and both of the 97-liner seem happy to have a hyung closer to their age. I think in a way, he kinda bridge the dynamics within the group.
youngjae really does care for yugyeom, back during the manito game he was so glad to get yugyeom to look after and he was really committed (if bleeding obvious lol) about it. i'm markjae af, but yugjae has really caught my interest as of late.

She gave Mark a blanket but Jackson ended up using it. Mark went to Yugyeom's house for Chuseok, the biggest family holiday in Korea, he must feel really comfortable with them.
I love these series so much and so sad today will be the last day we get them.. I also love Youngjae more and more, he's hilarious. And like JB said, cameras love him, he looks better nowadays, it's like he's maturing and more comfortable so he looks cool effortlessly
