dia's choreo is so adorable and fun (º̩̩́⌣º̩̩̀ʃƪ) the part where theyre fishing and catch cathy by the ponytail slays me. i hope they get some attention this promotion round since somehow was pretty basic

I will never get tired of Closer. OMG really won me over with this song.
As for Twice, Jihyo really can do no wrong for me. Jungyeon is stunning and was a lot more confident today. Tzuyu has improved so much since sixteen but you could see she had lots of potential even then. Sana is just a breath of fresh air, as is Nayeon. Mina's voice is stronger than I thought and it really matches slower parts of a song like the bridge. Momo's rap in Do it Again is really good considering Korean isn't her first language.

If I remember correctly Mina's had the shortest training period? Or is maybe it was Tzuyu. Either way I'm so proud of Tzuyu and I really like Mina's vocal tone so I hope they really focus on honing that in the future because it stands out a lot to me.

Lol Dk's voice beginning to crack is like the bat signal for Seventeen's promotions to wrap up. I'll miss them sooo much but I hope they get to take a real break.

Edited to add that Jihyo's skin is glowwwinngg. That red hair really suits her.

im watching sixteen now and i cant believeall these girls had been trainees for years. im sure they've improved during the show but all the struggle vocals, from the main singers especially, were a bit shocking. no wonder all the comments from knetz are only about their visuals.

they're cute tho and look like a nice bunch (sans a couple of them) so i hope jyp gives them better songs in the future.

Ballad singers/groups and Sunye/Yeun aside, JYPE main vocals are pretty weak tbh, not necessarily bad but definitely not impressive, so doesn't surprise me that this vocal line aren't much different from miss A/2pm+got7's main vocals.

Agreed tbh (though I would add Suzy in as a strong vocalist if not particularly astounding). I love JYP's groups but they definitely don't have the vocal acrobatic ability that SM and YG groups can boast about. They are more cohesive performers though, like generally the entire group can perform to the same standard rather than two or three being really talented and sticking out as compared to the one or two members that can't do anything special.

maybe that's cause the foreign members of boy groups are usually relegated to rapping, and rapline never receives many lines unless they're the producers of the song (see: YG, BTS, Block B vs got7, u-kiss eli).

When I first got into Seventeen, I was so irritated because there were 13 names to remember and I just wanted to pretend like I was too old and lazy to learn them but I got them all down in less than a day... so... How hard can Twice be? I'd have to watch that Sixteen show though and evidently that show was really lacking so it'll be harder just looking at pics... I should probably listen to their album before I worry about that though.

Wasn't expecting to like Twice, but their debut song snuck up on me. I love that little flute/pan whistle trill riff. Their first debut performance didn't impress me, not a single one stood out, but the redhead I think her name's Jihyo? She was radiant in this performance. Can only go up from here. I think they have loads of potential.

I can't believe I'm liking a JYP group but Twice is so charming :( I can only definitely tell apart a couple of the girls and I cba to learn properly but I know I'll give in eventually lol
