omonatheydid(that's jonghyun singing the "sailor moon" theme above.) so, jonghyun's solo concert series, the story by jonghyun, came to a close today after a twelfth and final show. the concert series spanned out from october 2nd - october 18th altogether, with four concerts every weekend over the last three weeks. i've made two posts about the concert series already (the first going over the first week, and the second yesterday after onew guest) but i figured it wouldn't hurt to make one for the final show as well because of the one guest and one special concert attendee: iu being the former and minho the latter.

iu and jonghyun are known to be really good friends. (they became friends after being on "immortal song 2" together.) it's been awhile since they've interacted in public and!!! not disappointing!!!! any of this.
they sang their well known (and loved) duet, "우울시계 (a gloomy clock)", which jonghyun composed and wrote, before doing a duet of iu's (still charting on the melon top 100) hit, "금요일에 만나요 (friday)".
iu also requested that jonghyun sing a cover of aoa's "heart attack" (it's a traditional jonghyun made with his guests throughout the concert series for them to choose two or three songs of their choice for him to sing quick snippet covers of on the spot), which minho ended up screaming some of the background vocals to in the middle of it all.
in addition to all of this: iu talked about her fondness for shawols / how well they treat her during cross promotions with shinee, agreed to write jonghyun a song sometime in the future (her first for another artist, potentially), and wrote him a letter:

it was probably after "immortal song" that we got to know each other better, ha ha ha. maybe because we debuted around the same time; we had similar worries / concerns, similar kind of embitions, and similar kind of... oom.
eight year old senior idols. halfway through our twenties, there's a lot we want to prove to others. between the wave of opinions from people underestimating or overestimating us, in order to find our place, we're workholics writing and rolling endlessly. there's a lot we have in common, right? so, seeing oppa, i want to tell you to take a break yet i fully emphathize with you and sincerely support you in what you do. you seem to be working really hard. even so, somehow, you seem to have slimmed down a lot so please take care of your heath. although the kind of music genre and performance ambience we do are different i give you my support from nearby. hope you get the things you want and do all the things you want: have concerts and prove yourself and prove everything! become someone who gives his fullest in life, wahhk!!!

as said above: rather than being a guest minho attended jonghyun's concert as a member of the audience, apparently much to jonghyun's surprise.

minho: the concert can't go on like this so i came to bring the book.
jonghyun: oh my..., thank you.
minho: so clumsy..., really. you do very well.
jonghyun: are you enjoy the concert?
minho: yes..., but i have no make up on...
jonghyun: he's handsome, right?
[shawols: it's okay, it's okay.]
minho: i watched the concert at the back. shawols view from the back is ...
jonghyun: very crowded, right?
minho: very pretty.
jonghyun: anyway, i feel thankful. what do you want me to do?
minho: ah! (because he works hard) jonghyun hyung performs using his throat and loses weight. i bought a throat candy for you.
jonghyun: thank you~. how do i have such a friend like you? (reading the wrapper on the throat candy.) "to freshen your nose and throat~." thank you, thank you. give this friend a round of applause.
[minho pretended to take the medicine.]
minho: anyway, you did twelve concerts taemin-goon came as your guest on the first day of the concerts.
jonghyun: yeah, he came here as the guest.
minho: and yesterday it was onew hyung.
jonghyun: ah, that's right.
minho: then why didn't you call me?!
jonghyun: it's not that i didn't (want) to call you. minho-goon is very bus right now. you just filmed a drama dn now you're also filming a movie. i was worried about how busy you were..., i'm sorry for not saying anything because you were busy. while i was thinking of feeling sorry for not inviting you as a guest i contacted all these guests. it'd be great if minho-goon could come to my concert next time.
minho: (jokingly) everyone, these are lies about why i didn't come.
jonghyun: alright, alright.
minho: there is not guarantee. this hyung casted the guests without guarantees.
jonghyun: it's not true!
minho: right, that scented candle, just give that (to me).
jonghyun: if minho hyung asked about guarantee..., then i will talk about it. how much is the guarantee? how much?
minho: we joke around with each other like this very well. i saw jonghyunnie hyung's concert until halfway. i've enjoyed it very much.
jonghyun: thank you.
minho: i couldn't help jonghyun hyung much during the preparation, plus i wasn't able to give (him) strength. i'm sorry.
jonghyun: your existence itself has become my strength.
minho: i came here..., earlier, i really wasn't joking. i was about to cry when hyung came out with "deja-boo". i'm not really the type who likes to cry but i was very emotional. i became emotional when hyung came out and i will watch the concert until the very end. i was very touched. i hope everyone will enjoy the concert until the end.
jonghyun: thank you. ah, really. thank you.

minho: you didn't know that i would come, right?
jonghyun: yeah, i really didn't know. thank you.
minho: i actually didn't plan to come here (ie: up on stage) but i just... want to bring this here and go, really.
jonghyun: thank you. please watch it until the end.
minho: you did great, hyung.
jonghyun: yes, yes.
minho: goodbye, and i'm sorry (for interupting) since it's jonghyun hyung's stage (right now).
jonghyun: no, no. it's okay.
minho: oh, i have another thing to say: are you even an impregnable man? when you're just all smiley every day? please stop.
jonghyun: impregnable? impregnable.
[one of the audience memebers said that she was an "impregnable girl". jonghyun responded to her, saying that he was an impregnable man. this basically means vulnurable, ect.]
minho: goodbye. oh, i left a letter inside of the book.
jonghyun: oh really? then let's ready it out loud.
