KARA beats Girls’ Generation

KARA achieved their first ever first place ranking today on MNet's M Countdown. KARA's "Honey" finally emerged victorious and surpassed the mega popular Girls' Generation and "Gee."

The KARA girls were very emotional and rightfully so, besides Goo Hara and Kang Ji Young, KARA waited 3 years for this achievement. Former member Kim Sung Hee was probably proud when she saw them win, Nicole even shouted KAMILIA for the fans before the encore. Congratulations Girls!

Ah, well, all popular songs get replaced eventually. Although apparently some people think the ban affected the scoring? O_o IDK. Anyway, congrats to Kara!

There was something about an SM ban from this show for all their artists, although I'm not sure how true it is. I assumed it was scheduling conflicts. Some SNSD fans are convinced it's due them being banned from this show, and unable to promote as much "which is why it doesn't count!"

Anyway, they only lost by like 2%. I doesn't sound like promotion had anything to do with it.

They're alright now, before Sung Hee left they had the potential to become the top girl group. They were sort of the next Fin.kl since when they were from the same company and when they debuted everyone seemed to be the next something.
