Synopsis: Top Band is a band competition series that airs on KBS. Out of 623 auditioning bands, only 18 teams will make it past the preliminaries and onto the main stage. Over the course of 12 episodes, these contestants will compete for the title of 'Top Band' and the 100 million Won grand prize. This season's panel of judges is made up of Shin Dae Chul, leader and guitarist of Sinawe; composer and songwriter Yoon Il Sang; and indie band Rose Motel, which previously participated as a contestant in Top Band 2.

Coach Match Performances

A brief explanation of this segment: Each of the 18 final bands will have the chance to work with a coach throughout the season. Here, each team has 300 seconds to win over the hearts of the three available coaches (Shin Dae Chul, Yoon Il Sang, and Rose Motel) so that they can move onto the real competition.

i need to look up lunafly's old stuff omg. i never paid much attention to them before, but i love the vocalist's voice

i was so happy to see leesa and her crew performing their red cover. i have a huge crush on the drummer tbh

azbus is interesting, i really like their sound :0 need to look them up too

the 2080 :(( they had some really talented people on board, but they didn't sound cohesive. it's so much harder for the project bands since they don't have a lot of experience playing together.

omg inplace is doing party? i liked everything except the vocals...idk, they weren't quite there

ipeul sounded better instrumentally than the 2080 (at least from what little they showed us lmao)

four brothers were ok but forgettable

aw what a circus are so cute in their uniforms hahaha. fun performers + fun sax

3pop! they're so cute. i'm glad not all of the project bands flopped >> i think their smaller number worked to their advantage

notension....lives up to their name lol. they're so soothing

wasted johnny's vocalist <3 i watched some of their other videos and liked what i heard

from the prev episode: apnea and oriental showcus both stand out, i'm happy they got picked. i went to find more on them and there were a lot of leaguers on apnea's videos lol........
