Lee Joon Gi to make his Hollywood debut in Resident Evil 6: The Final Chapter!

Actor Lee Joon Gi‘s next stop seems to be Hollywood!

According to many movie industry officials, as well as Lee Joon Gi’s management agency, Namoo Actors, he will be one of the cast members of “Resident Evil 6: The Final Chapter.” While details about his role have not been revealed, he is currently in South Africa for filming.

It is said that he has been preparing for this role, since the filming for “Scholar Who Walks the Night” ended.

Some fans might have known this already, as actress Milla Jovovich posted a picture of herself with Lee Joon Gi on her Instagram account. She said, “Working for the last few nights with the incredible 3rd Dan Tae Kwon Do master and actor Joon Gi has been insanely fun and so inspiring. Makes me want to go back to class and brush up on my martial arts skills!”

“Resident Evil 6″ is the finale of the series that started in 2002 and has been filming in Cape Town, South Africa since this past August. Paul Anderson, Milla Jovovich’s husband, is the director of the movie which is slated to open in theaters in North America in January 2017.

I feel like he's just gonna be the token asian guy in the film :/ meh. I didn't watch RE3, 4, 5 so idk how welcomed (or possibly unwelcomed) this franchise is. But good for him though, get that exposure!
