She can give you the history... but to answer your question, he still doesn't like dogs that are not part of Mingki's brood. He's very selective.

I don't know much about details, to be honest. I've always just been told that Taec hates animals, which is something I just accepted as fact. He doesn't like cats even though OkCat is his symbol.

That said, he had quite a bond with Mingki in season 1 of Three Meals. I feel like part of it was because she was a really calm and quiet dog. And she loved him a lot; he was her favorite person on that set. It was really sad to watch him leaving at the end of season 1 because he was genuinely worried about who was going to take care of her. I think it was part of that bond that he also fell in love with her kids.

But as for the origin of why he hates animals, some of the other commenters would probably be able to tell you more.

Ikr lmao. I had to do a double take every time he was with Mingki in season 1. And when he mentioned taking one of the pups home and it actually happened, I had to sit for a while to process that info.
