If you can bring yourself to ignore his messy braids, Samuel Seo actually delivers a catchy song and a decently cute video as the single from his 2nd album, which you can listen to in full and read more about below.

A member of the New Block Babyz crew, Seo has been pretty silent since the release of his first album 2 years ago, some of which you can listen to on his personal Youtube channel. His newest album, Frameworks, is more vocally focused and heavier on the jazzy and experimental side than his previous work.

Based on what I've heard of his older stuff, Frameworks seems a lot more grown up and chilled out compared to Welcome to My Zone, which I personally didn't particularly care for; there's even an honest-to-god ballad (the titular "Frameworks") where Seo does his best Junsu impression.


Aside from the single, I like "G O Y O," "Blurred," "Shut Up and Drive" and "Live Your Life" on first listen, but the real standout track is the serious slow jam "Stay if You Want."
