Sooyoung cast in special KBS drama

On October 13th, broadcast officials announced that Sooyoung has been cast in a special KBS 2TV drama named “Perfect Sense”. Sooyoung will star in the role of someone who is blind. This will be Sooyoung’s return to the silver screen after starring in “Springtime of My Life” in 2014, for which she recently won an Excellence Award at the “2015 Korea Drama Awards”. The role will likely be a very meaningful one for Sooyoung, who is also very involved with the Korea Retinitis Pigmentosa Society.

“Perfect Sense” will begin airing in early 2016. It will be Sooyoung’s fourth drama as a leading role.

She's finally getting something. I may be hoping for too much but I don't want a love story to be the main plot for this, but then again, this is a K-drama.

yay sooyoung! i think she's the best actress in snsd, great that she's getting more acting work.
also whenever i think of sooyoung acting, i always think about jessica in hello baby saying something like 'she says she cant do it but she changes countenance so quickly (when it's time) haha

I'm kinda torn here because I am so glad that she got such a meaningful role especially because she really supports this cause, but damn I want to see her in a fun romantic comedy with a hot guy who's not way older than her for once OTL
