Plot

Is there more to school than just grades? Kang Yeon Doo (Jung Eun Ji) is a peppy cheerleader who is popular at school because of her sunny personality. But when she transfers to an elite high school where grades and school rankings are stressed, she feels like an outcast because of her less-than-stellar grades. She also clashes with Kim Yeol (Lee Won Geun), a student who seems to have it all with great looks and great grades. Fellow cheerleader Seo Ha Joon (Ji Soo) also feels the pressures to do well academically but also harbors a family secret that detracts from his focus. Kwon Soo Ah (Chae Soo Bin) is pushed into cheerleading by her mother to boost her resume, but she realizes that she has a talent for it. All the students have to try to measure up to the school brainiac, Ha Dong Jae (Cha Hak Yeon). Can Yeon Doo survive in such a high-pressure environment? “Sassy Go Go” is a 2015 South Korean drama series directed by Lee Eun Jin.

When the initial reports broke put, I was so worried (borderline upset) because it was said that he was going to take Jisoo's role. And this being Jisoo's first role since his breakout role in Angry Mom, if hakyeon didn't do well in it, it would have caused an uproar. Since very many people are anticipating jisoo's next role. So relieved when it was then later revealed that they're both signing on, and hakyeon's character description changed to a 4D bff basketball ace instead of broody with pained family background.

No. Lee wongeun is the male lead. Jisoo is the second lead who plays male lead's bff and they have this bromance thing going on, i don't know if he'll fall for eunji as well. Afaik hakyeon and soobin are supposed to get a loveline but i don't know if production ditche dthat idea since there hasn't been any follow ups since the initial reports of the loveline

the intial setup is a bit ridiculous but they're all so cute & it looks like it'll be a lot of fun!! I'm so thankful this adorable cast will be blessing our screens twice a week starting tomorrow!

This drama is all about friendships so yaaay for that. They already have a solid platonic friendship between male and female characters so i hope they don't ruin that
