If you remember from Unpretty Rapstar: Cheetah originally started out as a vocalist, but she was run over by a bus when she was 17. After her brain surgery and coma, her voice was so badly damaged she couldn't sing anymore. So yeah this is pretty huge for her. :')

Lol that wig was terrible but she looked qt.At one moment I was worried her dress was going to slip down.

She has a really nice, low voice. I imagine her singing jazzy songs in some undergroud bar. Hopefully she'll use her singing voice in songs from time to time

Date: 2015-10-04 09:18 pm (UTC)iana singing expert but imo you can clearly hear her voice cracking and struggling when she goes into mildly higher ranges, her yoo hee yeol singing is really evident of that, so I imagine that may have been an affect and would have definitely hampered her career. smoking tends to add a graininess to your voice and her voice here seems reminiscent of that, so the accident may also have added that tone. I love the voice it's given her, shame it's not the more commonly desired tone over there.
