It was really awful when translated to English -- I dont even remember that scene lol. But in the context of the drama, it wasn't that awkward and weird. He called her pottery, dog and tree. And his behaviors (or lack of interest) towards her are driving her crazy and she went to see a shrink. And the shrink said she's too dependent on him -- it was hilarious actually rather than awful/awkward..
i actually translate it from eng to my language, so the cheese already filtered out i guess. my problem is that everyone and everything is so damn stupid and extra. i just can't stand it.
i work freelance for a subtitling company in my country. the ones i translated already have eng sub, then i translate it to my language. it's for cable tv here. i don't remember the titles tho, the last one is the one with lee sungkyun (is that her name? the YG model/actress) the one where she got separated w/her mother and they're both chefs.
i don't like dramas uuuugh i watched some but those are reply series or period ones (which i can tolerate more). tried to watch secret garden and the one with F40's, can't stand it, can't finish it. didn't even finish the one with im siwan, the office worker one, but that's i think bc the pacing is too slow for me.
lmaaaao. That scene from YWCFTS was also weird for me in Korean, like *cringe* I still don't understand why this drama had such high ratings. I would understand good ratings but that high ? Nah.
