I'm confused. I honestly don't know how I feel about this anymore..especially now that I can understand the Khottesta bit more and the reasons behind the things they've done and are doing.
This actually didnt get me upset. I dont agree with boycotting, but idk, I think they have a lot of courage and dedication. I mean all that money, community service, giving up tickets for dream concert, giving even signed CDs back, and spending hours organizing/doing all these things (post-its, flash mob, silent protest)... It's not that easy. I almost admire them. and I get where theyre coming from- they want their leader back, and these are, no doubt, strong ways of showing that.
I just wish they'd have more consideration for the other members.
i'm tired of seeing kHottests' actions news on omona. So many here have such a negative outlook on them and their beliefs and it's starting to get a little bit ridiculous. The arguments against them are always the same and they're starting to seem invalid...

The uncertainty of the situation at the same time makes matters much more difficult, but it's what needs to be done to get what they want. When has anyone ever heard of Korean fans being passive, anyway? Seriously? Comparing kHottests actions now to actions of other fans in the past with other groups, I have nothing to hold against them. (Who saw the news report that WENT TO HIS HOUSE, FILMED INTO HIS WINDOW, AND QUESTIONED HIS NEIGHBORS? Americans, seriously? That's what I call overboard)
To me, it's ridiculous that JYP/ whoever is involved is dragging this out for so long. If 6-member 2PM is to continue without Jaebum, I wish he would just say so. The certainty of that statement would make me face reality and I'd gladly support them, no doubt. But the fact that the possibility is still there is what makes me support these kHottests and makes me see things the way I do.
This nonsense makes me anxious IRL and i'm friggin' tired of it.
I honestly have no idea where I stand in this situation, I mean I can see from both sides. I have to admire the fans for their devotion but at the same time I think that no boyband or entertainment person should consume a person's life so much.
And then I hate that they are doing this because it seems like fans don't care about the other six guys..I mean it feels like JaeBum is 2PM. I can't imagine how the other six guys feel, "No one cares abous us?" nor can I imagine how Jae feels...he probably appreciates all the support but he's probably hating it at the same time because his bandmates are suffering.
at least they're doing something helpful and not screaming ridiculous nonsense like back when only13 happened. =\
honestly, we can all bitch and complain about this boycott but we can't really do anything about it. the fact is they're in korea and they're doing whatever the hell it is they're doing, and there's nothing we can do about it. what they say is true though, why can't jype give them 10 minutes of their time to give an official statement through an interview? you heard it, it's all they really want, it's what we all want and not this sketchy business that's been going on for the past month or so.

I've been really divided since the beginning. Part of me still thinks this is one huge publicity stunt.
The other half is thinking it's real, then I get even more divided. I want to say I support the khottests, because I can understand what they want and I think it's unfair that they're kind of not being given any information. But at the same time I'm thinking...

tbh i can understand why they do this. they fear that if they still show the same amt of support w/o jay inside, it's like they can move on. and so nothing will change, you know? they have to do something and this might be the only way even if nothing will change.
not to say that it doesnt affect the other members but i dont think they really mean it like okay we dont support 2pm anymore. in a sense you have to understand that it is difficult for these fans to portray their feelings in such a tough situation. D:
I agree. It isn't about not supporting the other members.. I think people think its that way, and of course it'll look that way. The Hottests love ALL Of the members. Jay isn't even my "favorite" but hes a part of the band. And if this would've happened to ANY other member in the band, I think we can agree that we'd do the same thing. A missing member is an incomplete band. I still support the boycott - at the very beginning I thought it was incredibly selfish, but after a while with more news coming out, things started seeming more "fishy" and thats when I decided that the boycott was the best idea.
If the fans do nothing, JYPE won't make the slightest effort to bring Jay back. Don't you think the fans WANT to be supportive? Of course we do! And inside we are all aching because we want to show the boys support... we still love them, its just JYPE thats the problem...JYPE won't give a damn about Jay, if nothing is done. Boycott = loss of $. $= running a company/group. Though its a drastic step - without it, theres no hope.

I understand why they they are boycotting and respect them for sticking to their guns (lol, cheesy phrase). But what makes me kind of love them? All the charity work they are doing. They aren't out there just throwing a bitchfit. They are trying to help 2PM (all 7 of them) AND they are helping their community. I rather admire them, ngl.
