Good news! BTOB is currently preparing for a comeback.
Their agency, CUBE Entertainment, confirmed the news that the boy group is preparing a new album. Further details have been revealed that they are aiming for an October comeback with a ballad song. A specific comeback date has yet to be determined.
BTOB last wooed fans in July with “It’s Okay” and received positive responses. They were even able to achieve first place on various music sites reflecting their increased popularity.
On another note, BTOB released their single album “My Girl” in Japan last month and successfully completed their Japanese promotions.

Date: 2015-09-25 04:31 am (UTC)I thought it was a rumor, but glad that it isn't. October seems to be a gamble with all the debuts and comebacks, but I'm anticipating what they'll do.

Date: 2015-09-25 05:13 pm (UTC)I think Cube is gambling rn cause at this point Sungjae's schedule isn't that packed with live shooting, so they are hoping to squeeze right into the moment Sungjae is less busy that he would be like in Nov in the middle of drama? But he still is has wgm (shooting every two weeks) and inkigayo (shooting every week)... I bet he will also get more cf offers too so boy already gave up on sleep and Minhyuk has all his parts rehearsed

Date: 2015-09-25 06:41 pm (UTC)I can't with people saying BtoB's unpopularity is their fault bc Cube gave them so many comebacks in 2013 etc while G.na or Roh Ji Hoon were locked in basement. What's the point of investing in comeback if you don't promote it enough? It's a waste. It's Okay fared amazingly on charts (months after release it was still in melon top 100) but BtoB had only one variety appearance as whole (Weekly Idol...) and they promoted for 3 weeks only. Like even Hyuna gets to appear on Sketchbook...
Cube seems to think they are too good, too pure to mediaplay and their artists suffer. Most of Sungjae articles were made either by the shows he was on or some journalists half-assed quick clickbaits (when he was on Masked Singer suddenly a ton of articles about his selcas got released :p).
Sorry for the essay :(

Date: 2015-09-25 07:11 pm (UTC)no worries! there aren't enough btob stans around to talk to! i don't pay much attention to how they're managed, i'm always behind with variety show appearances etc. but it can only be because of cube that they aren't at least somewhat more popular by now. in fact, considering their management, the fact that their last album was still so well-received should say something about them. they only seem to rise in popularity if only bit by bit, they could go so much further.
edit: oops @ thinking this was a reply to me, it appeared in my inbox bc i made the post :')
