"The Day" Ranks at #2 on Billboard World Albums!!

Day6's debut mini album has ranked at #2 on Billboard World Albums!!

The album has received lots of positive attention internationally and is currently peaked at number 2! This news comes only a week after Day6's official debut under JYP Entertainment.

Member Jae reacted on twitter disbelievingly and said,


Coincidentally, this news comes out close to Jaehyung's birthday, so this is a great birthday present for him!

They deserve this and so much more! The album has been on repeat and I can't stop marveling at the fact that everything is so cohesive and well written/produced. If JYP isn't gonna promote them the conventional method then I hope they get to book more intimate gigs and festivals to hone their skills.

I'm still baffled that JYP is not even promoting them on some music shows. I'm glad they're at least getting recognition outside of Korea.

It's not JYPE. The boys don't want to play-sync, or whatever the proper term is, their instruments. If they're going to do a music show, they want to perform live. I remember them saying that they're looking into working with the music shows so that they can perform live.
