OP Is A Bad Stan: #7HANKYOU2PM - 2PM 7th Year Anniversary “Let’s Stay Together Forever”

The original beastly idol group 2PM is celebrating their seventh anniversary today on September 4!

2PM was formed through the trainee reality show “Hot Blooded Men,” which also created the group 2AM. They debuted to huge popularity back in 2008 with their single “Ten Out of Ten,” and have since released several hit albums, including their most recent album “No. 5.”

At 11:40 p.m. KST on September 3, 2PM began a special live broadcast on Naver’s V app to celebrate their anniversary with their fans.



The whole show is a lot of fun, and features the guys replying to fan comments, chatting, eating, and playing Jenga. They also challenge themselves to a game where they have to dance along to their hits that are played at random.

When the clock strikes midnight, they count down and then celebrate with a cake. Jun.K says, “A lot of things have happened, a lot of good things. We’ve worked hard to make it up this mountain. Thank you so much to everyone for being by our side. We’ll keep climbing until it’s been 17 years, and then 27 years. You’ll be together with us, right?”

Taecyeon and Jun.K also take viewers on a quick tour of the JYP Entertainment headquarters. Taecyeon stops by the rehearsal studio to check in on GOT7 and celebrate Mark‘s birthday, and then does hilarious imitations of all the different groups in the agency as he shows off their photos in the hall.

If nothing else the last 10 minutes of this should be mandatory watching because Taec had me dying. I mean he literally stole the naver phone.

interestingly we got a mention of jae right at the beginning. Wasn't by name, but just that took 6 years.

I have so much to say about the last 10 minutes. I love how when Minjun finally caught up with Taec, he goes, "Stop broadcasting already, you're making Naver go crazy," and Taec just goes, "Let's keep going!"

The mention was interesting to say the least. I didn't really know how to react to it. Am I supposed to whistle... or giggle awkwardly?

time really has flown by. Can't believe it's been 7 years already.

They are such special snowflakes. I love the utter chaos, the loud boisterousness, the random everyone is doing something different that comes with them. It makes everything that do THAT much more entertaining. My favorite moments had to be Junho pulling out his English and Taec hijacking the camera to run to the office.

That little moment at the beginning when they mentioned Jay. I had to rewind and rewatched because I thought I misheard. lol

Or the fact that he had to count on his fingers in order to get to number 7 in Chinese? Junho should just be responsible for all English and non-Korean/non-Japanese things from now on. It's so precious.

Lol "that hip hop guy" part of me wishes that they could be friends, despite Jay Park acting like that part of his life never happened. And omg the GotPm interactions always make my day they are so sweet to each other.

I can see they easily reaching the 10 years mark. They seem genuinely close to each other and happy with being in the group. GOTPM is the best thing ever and they should have their own reality show.
