She's adorable. It's interesting that she started out doing graphic designer, a lot of the makeup artist that I know have beginnings in art/design/illustration.
i like watching her tutorials even though i never ever tried doing it all myself. i remember being disappointed by her video about make up for people wearing glasses tho she's an inspiration, along with jungsaemmool

I find her interesting but I still don't fully understand how she became so successful. Originally I assumed she was an ulzzang turned makeup artist but now I really don't know.
I think it's cuz she started out on naver blog/cyworld with her tutorials and then InSite TV picked her up and she pm blew up cuz she also did celebrity looks (which is how a lot of the beauty gurus get attention tbh. I know Jen from Frmheadtotoe started out like that too)
Tbh I think Pony deserves all the hype because I haven't encountered a beauty blogger as detailed and talkative as her while doing makeup. She explains concepts and logic behind her techniques really well and it makes sense too.
Also I know she used to model wigs on the side (and she used wigs heavily on her early tutorials) so I guess she dyed her hair cuz she wanted a change? lol
Even before all these youtube stars happened, tuts for korean makeup were already all over bec of the ullzzang craze.
I remember her from way back, it's trippy to hear about them again. Like the ulzzang girls from that massive online store that opened physical stores and recently launced a makeup line.
i remember when she only uploaded picture tutorials on her cyworld back then and people would post translated versions on soompi. i was so excited when i found that she started doing video tutorials and liked her even more because she is so charming and fun!
I'm so sad that her makeup tutorials have been lessening both on her actual yt channel and her Insite TV channel. But that said she's been all over the place and getting work and being famous so yasss get dat money bb
She does a lot of lol concepts like snapback makeup and glasses makeup but I like that her videos are always very different and well prepared. Plus she can draw so yass I stan her so muchhhh
i actually got to know her from one of the reruns of her show on channel m? and she seems so down-to-earth i am just in love with makeup tutorials in general it's like magic
