This show has been pretty stingy with the stills, but here’s a peek at Song Hye-gyo (That Winter, the Wind Blows) and Song Joong-ki (Nice Guy) on the set of their new drama Descended From the Sun, the blockbuster human melodrama from hit writer Kim Eun-sook (Heirs, Gentleman’s Dignity, Secret Garden) and the PD of Secret. The KBS drama is planning to be 100% pre-produced and is aiming for a fall broadcast, though the time slot still hasn’t been officially fixed.

Behind-the-Scenes Footage of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo Filming “Descendants of the Sun” Released


A short video containing the filming scene for the drama “Descendants of the Sun” was released on Song Joong Ki‘s DC Inside Gallery. The video is only about 2-3 seconds, but those few seconds definitely contain enough of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo!

In the video, Song Joong Ki is speaking into a walkie-talkie, and Song Hye Kyo is smiling at him. It is noteworthy that Song Joong Ki looks more manly after he was discharged from the army, and Song Hye Kyo looks as beautiful as ever.

The two stars’ drama “Descendants of the Sun” features a young soldier Yoo Si Jin (played by Song Joong Ki) and an attractive doctor Kang Mo Yeon (played by Song Hye Kyo) who dream of success and love in foreign land. It will be airing late this year.

I have only watched the beg of Secret Garden from this writer and I hope she doesn't make SJK that much of an asshole. This better get good ratings and be worth it for SJK because otherwise >_<.
