Actor Park Shi Hoo has been confirmed as the male lead of the upcoming OCN drama, “Town’s Hero” (working title).

“Town’s Hero” is the latest project from director Kwak Jung Hwan, who is known for his well-received dramas like “Chuno,” “Conspiracy in the Court,” and “Basketball.” It will tell the story of a former secret agent who starts grooming a cop-wannabe youth into a secret agent.
Park Shi Hoo will portray ex-secret agent Baek Shi Yoon, who runs a small bar after retiring from secret services.

The drama will go into productions this September, and it will premiere early next year.



I'm disappointed ocn. Can't believe he is back. Guess his family indeed has money and power. And the character he'll play is a HERO.  *Side eye*

yup, the latter. it's a shame, because few months right after the laws were changed so that settlement with the victims won't drop their charges and the crime still undergoes full investigation. i believe his case received nonindictment and he did a shit ton of media play like he was acquitted of all charges when in reality they just stopped investigating.

basically he was accused of rape and without the full investigation going on the charges were dropped bc he countersued the girl for slander, and made her out to be a liar/gold-digger. even though there's footage of him carrying the girl into his house and they both agree she spent the entire night there.

I can't believe that there are delusional people that think he was the victim of a gold-digger, when she was drunk, as shown on CCTV, and he admitted to having sex with her while sober. That's fucking rape. His innocence was never proved - police just stopped investigating because they settled out of court (aka he paid her to stfu). After his case, the police changed the laws to keep investigating even after charges are dropped. He's a piece of shit.
