i can't believe SM had the NERVE to re-release Show Girls.
I still don't get why they had to remake Show Girls. It's the weakest song (I just can't stand the chorus). I wasn't expecting One Afternoon to be so chill, I like it. But on a second listen, the song doesn't really fit in the album. The order is a bit off, but I LOVE this album (Fire Alarm, Talk Talk, Sign, Bump It especially). And the vocals! Sunny omg.
I fucking love this song. The video. Everything. This was a flawless. I'm not even an snsd fan. Lol I got so hyped for all these other comebacks that were just kinda meh and then when snsd came back with party I was like omg they're done, sm isn't even trying anymore with them.
Lion Heart, Fire Alarm, Paradise, Green Light & Talk Talk are really good. Check too, if we're counting that. Sign and Bump It! were the superior songs.
One Afternoon, Party and Show Girls were the odd ones out. I liked OA, but it sounded so out of place with the rest of the album with the mellow bossa nova; Party is not strictly speaking new and Show Girls doesn't work without Jessica.
Still on the fence with You Think, I'd like it more if it wasn't so grating.
I love the live version of shows girls, but the Korean version is a bit lackluster. I absolutely love Sign, Fire Alarm Green Light, Paradise, Bump It, and You Think. Lion Heart has grown on me. Talk Talk , and One Afternoon are fine . I think Sign , and Paradise are my favorites though. Excited for the promotions, they better bring it with You Think.
It would've been a good song for TTS. Just needs a little more attitude and power. It's benefiting from comparison with Lion Heart (the "non-boring" single).
Did they just remake Show Girls so they can use it for a concert opener in Korea? Anyways, my fav song is Green Light. Lion heart,talk talk, one afternoon, and Paradise were nice but meh.
