Something that’s right in front of your eyes is sometimes the hardest for you to see. Jang Ha Na (Ha Ji Won) and Choi Won (Lee Jin Wook) have been lifelong friends. Through thick and thin, they’ve been through many things together in the nearly 20 years of friendship, including relationships that each has had with other people.

Approaching her 30th birthday, Ha Na receives an email from Won that jokes about the “symptoms of premature aging.” Angry about the widely held belief that men are like grapes that turn into a fine bottle of wine as they age while women are like grapes that shrivel up into raisins, Ha Na makes a bet with Won that she can get married first before they turn 35.

Will Ha Na and Won be able to find their true loves or have they been blind to what’s been there all along?

“The Time I’ve Loved You (aka The Time We Were Not in Love)” is a 2015 South Korean dramas series directed by Jo Soo Won. It is a remake of the popular 2011 Taiwanese drama “In Time With You.”

i've watched the taiwan vers (one of my all-time favorites for various reasons), and this honestly doesn't compare at all

although the leads are great eye candy and have pretty decent chemistry, the plot drags a lot (!!!) and so do the subplots w/ the corresponding second leads. camerawork also isn't great, neither is the ost (the taiwanese ost is a work of art, esp. paired with the shots in the orig. drama)

it also jumps back and forth between stories and constantly has me spacing out during episodes :( i'm only finishing it because i need to get my consolation for watching all this time - consolation which will be the two leads getting together yippeeeeeee

I watched taiwan drama that korea make a remake drama of it, but the taiwan version still better >.<

Hi ^^ the leads have great chemistry and we have some sweet moments, but the drama dragged too much, maybe because the writers got changed after episode 6 :(

The original version, also drags but imo they handled it better :)

thanks for the post, OP! i've been waiting and waiting for the last half eps to see if it'd get any better before commenting
...yet it still doesn't get any better (currently in the middle of ep 12)

i can't believe the writing staff would waste the chemistry between LJW and HJW...granted it's nowhere near the orig. da ren/you qing OTP but it's still something alive compared to the other relationships (w/ stewardess girl & pianist guy). the way he looks at her is the only reason why i'm still watching this stuff - his googly eyes dammit!!! the small thing that bothers me is how long these solo shots are - their faces are on screen for like 3+ seconds when staring @ each other and it just makes me so...uncomfortable

also, i'm so tired of them dragging on this tandy+cha seohoo collab storyline. maybe i'm just spacing out too much during episodes, but it just circles around pointlessly/doesn't excite anything/is confusing/time-consuming (gimme more oh daebok + hana's hoobae instead!! they r so cute), and feels like a lame excuse for hana to keep seohoo in her life :(

sigh, so many things i wish the kor. ver would take from the taiwan ver (a la more cute moments between her + her family, won spending more time w/ her family - basically gimme more lead OTP moments!!), but i guess that's the fun in watching a new vers, seeing how it's interpreted?? such a shame that it moves so slow, cause i find the cinematography and lighting of this drama reallllly beautiful, and much better than the taiwanese original

i've already started watching oh my ghostess while waiting for this drama to speed up - it's 10x better and i'm only on ep 5

I'm rewatching Arashi members' dramas now -- they tend to star in good dramas. :P

Which Kdramas to your liking? Romcom? Crime? Medical? Melo? Historical? And what's your fave kdramas? I can recommend based on your reply. :D

I like them all but I watched too much police/medical dramas, so I prefer other genres :)

Have you tried Fated to Love You / Sassy Girl, Chun-Hyang / Prime Minister & I? That's the only k-romcom that I actually enjoy.

I would recommend historical dramas but I'm afraid that you are the type that dislike watching those.

For crime dramas, the only one from Korea that I really love is Heartless City tbh.. The rest is not up to my standard or just plain uninteresting to me..

Chen Bolin and HJW also have an upcoming movie, and they even had datings rumors, it would be funny Da ren getting Hana haha
