SM's stock has risen more than 11% since snsd's (korea's national girl groupTM) comeback has been announced.

Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri revealed her beautiful cousin on the August 11 episode of “Channel Girls’ Generation.”  On this episode, Yuri decided to share her photoshoot scene through her personal channel.

Yuri used a camera to film herself doing photoshoots for a pictorial. Although the shoot went on until dawn, she kept telling herself not to doze off, showing off her professional side.

She also introduced her cousin Vivian, who also looked like a porcelain doll. Yuri asked her how she takes care of her flawless skin, to which she responded shyly, “I use a facial mask every day and wash well.”

On the fourth episode of “Channel Girls’ Generation” aired on August 11, the members of Girls’ Generation disclosed Taeyeon‘s homebody habits.

During the episode, Yuri said, “We have lived with Taeyeon before. One time, I didn’t see her for two whole days, so I thought she had taken a trip somewhere. In the end, it turned out that she had never come out of her room.”

YoonA also added to the hilarious story, saying, “There were many times when I thought she wasn’t at home because it was all dark, but then she came out of the dark like a ghost.”

On the recent episode of “Channel Girls’ Generation” that aired on August 11, Seohyun became very emotional while thanking the other members for their kindness.

During the show, the other members address the rumor that Seohyun is purposely changing her image from innocent to sexy. To this, Sooyoung claims, “I think this kind of change is good for our maknae. When she wore revealing outfits in the “Gone With the Wind” musical, I was proud of her for trying out new things. I hope she doesn’t rush herself and works as well as she is right now.”

Hyoyeon adds, “She is forever our maknae so she’s cute and pretty.”

Seohyun then tells her unnies, “I’m so thankful for you guys,” and tears up.

Seeing her cry, the members come up with a “I Love You” song and try to cheer her up.

she and other members have mentioned she has depression but in this case I think its just her introverted personality, she said she doesnt go out much and usually just likes to hang out in the dorm (but she did say she likes to turn on the radio to feel like she's talking to someone lol)

There's a difference between not leaving the house (dorm) vs not leaving your room. The first can be introverted/homebody/relaxing at home and the other's depression.

i have a friend that live alone in a kind of hostel, and she can stay in her room for two days because she just want to sleep and playing the sims for hours.
she has instant food and bathroom inside her room tho so she didn't need to go out at all.
maybe taeyeon has something she likes to do inside her room? or she went tout of her room periodically but yuri didn't see her.
but i'm also believed that she maybe has depression, i think she maybe feels like her life is empty and there's nothing to do anymore

It worries me that Taeyeon isolates herself for days at a time like this. I can definitely relate, but whereas I have access to proper treatment and support she lives in a place where depression is stigmatized and barely understood. Before anyone starts accusing me of "fandom diagnosing," I'm not trying to diagnose her, I can just empathize with the things she's said, feeling empty and sad "for no reason", not wanting to leave the house, and I do think that what she's been describing is as close as a Korean public figure can get to saying they struggle with a mental illness.

That story about Taeng hiding in her room is making the big-sister instincts come out. :( I've been there too, and I kinda just wanna hug her and make her soup and tell her she is loved, not for being "SNSD'S KID LEADER TAEYEON~~" but as Kim Taeyeon, the human being. I wonder if there's anyone other than the members (and Baek and prolly Heechul) who can tell her that honestly - "I love you for you, not for your public persona." tl;dr i wanna give Taeng a hug forever.

I side eye how korean entertainment treats these stories. Whether Taeyeon has depression or not, there have been far too many times where signs of mental illness or introverted tendencies have been used as story fodder for laughs. I wish there wasn't such a stigma around mental illness.

watching gg channel definitely makes me like taeyeon slightly better. but yeah after watching tts onstyle and now gg channel i get the impression that she seems really lonely.

also, her room is really cool i kinda like her personality too, she seems calm and i like watching her doing her artsy things and doing her nail art lol. sigh... if only she didnt treat jessica like she was some kind of dirt :(

but yes i hope she can recover from whatever thing she's suffering rn (only if she really is). i hope she's still with baekhyun lmao, and i hope he makes her happy despite all those crazy fans trying to ruin their rs (if they're still together).

The TTS show last year made me a Tae fan and she continues to be a favourite of mine despite the hit the group took for 9/30 AND her comments about Alicia Keys/black people. I sense a sadness in her and it's a prime example of fame and money and success not bringing happiness. I hope that she keeps busy and is surrounded by good people. At the very least it'll keep her from being at home all alone for days on end.

Taeyeon was/is my very first kpop bias (and so Soshi bias). She's had her problematic moments and I've always been able to relate to her in terms of her introverted-ness. I have no idea if she's actually depressed or not - if she is I hope she gets help - but while I'm pretty dang introverted, I'll at least message a friend once a day even if I never leave my house/dorm room. I mean I leave to shower/eat/work out but I wouldn't physically talk to anyone for an entire weekend. However at least someone knows (via texting or online messaging) that I'm home and well. She's been through a lot these past few years and I hope in any case she has the support network she needs to get through tough times, depression or not.

On another note I've been loving the show and am excited for their album (I never have my hopes too high but I can't help it). I hope they enjoy the concepts for You Think and Lion Heart so they can have a good comeback. I can't help but feel it's going to be one of the last few comebacks they'll have so I want them to do well and have fun.
