Amber's Dog Gongju Has Passed Away

Caption: Hey everyone, im sorry to have to announce Gongju passed away on Saturday. I want to thank everyone for supporting her for the past three years. Its been a pleasure sharing this part of my life with everyone. Their account will still be active for JackJack @jackjackdadog . There might be future released content that was filmed weeks in advanced with her in it, just wanted to let everyone know in case there is future confusion. Again thank you so much everyone.

Caption: I thought i'd share this last picture of Gongju i got from the doctors when she was still okay. It was a hard 6 months and Gongju fought hard. Thank you for fighting for me Gongju. Thank you again to everyone who supported her and all my friends who helped me raise and take care of her. You guys made Gongju very happy.

공주 아직도 괜찮을때 마지막 사진인데 6개월동안 많이 힘들었을텐데 많이 견뎌줘서 고마워 공주야. 병원에 계신 선생님들한테 감사드리고 싶고 팬여러분과 내 친구들한테도 많이 많이 고마워요 여러분덕분에 공주가 많이 행복했어요.

It's an awful feeling :( But the memories you spend with your pet make the pain go away. I had the funniest chocolate lab, and since I was an only child, he was essentially my other sibling. when he got to 13 we knew that it'd be his time soon, and the day he passed away was sad, but the memories we had with him gave us comfort and closure.

Trust me, having a pet is a wonderful experience :) Death and loss are a part of life, after all. But the memories are what make it worth experiencing. :)

Yeah.. that's is what people tell me too. I think I'll get one once I settle down - not a great idea to have a dog when you live alone and move every year haha. I'm glad you have such great memories and experiences with you dog :) I think having one will teach me a lot about by myself and make me a better person. But alas I also want to travel after graduating so it'll have to wait!

my wounds are fresh since my first dog (family pet) passed away in june. it's like no other pain i've experienced tbh, i cried so hard on and off for 24 hours, but like the user above said, like with any loss the pain starts to recede and you remember the memories you had. for us it helps that we have her sister to look after still, idk what'll happen when she passes, and i'll probably bawl like a baby when we scatter the first dog's ashes. it's so worth it though, i wouldn't pass up on the last 12 years for anything.

When I went abroad to study I cried buckets leaving my rabbit, but not at all for my granny. (Then again, I expected to see my granny again, not my methusalem-aged bunny. Turns out the bun held out a year longer than my gran.)

Now I really want a pet again but my job will likely require me to move often or not earn much, so I don't know how I could keep a pet responsibly. Still, I really want one ;___; It gets lonely sometimes.

It kind of explains why during Amber's reaction video, the dog was kind of just laying there, not really doing much. Probably been sick for a while poor thing. No more suffering and they are in a better place now.

I wonder what happened to the dog... I don't know anything about dogs but 3 years old seems still quite young. This is probably very hard for her (hence why she waited 3 days to share the news probably) I hope she;ll be fine :c

Oh goodness, so young :( I'm guessing whatever illness she had was particularly aggressive, since small dogs usually live for quite awhile (as far as I know, I'm a big dog owner so I don't really know much). Rest in peace little one <3 I hope Amber's okay.

You're right; my mini poodle lived to age 16 and if the vet hadn't put her down (my Mom's call, not mine) she might have lived longer.

Very sorry to hear, losing a pet is so hard. Almost teared up just reading this and thinking about her loss and the pets i have lost myself. But the joy they bring no matter how short lived is worth it. RIP little pup.
