They don't sound that great in some of these (looking @ u Lim) but I don't even care cause I still love everything they are choosing to be with this comeback. Marry me Yenny we can wear matching leotards and leg warmers instead of wedding dresses.
Tell me why Lim is in WG again... Average dancer, mediocre singer (Nobody ugh), her rapping got better but still sounds like a kid. I feel like there's a big difference between her and the other members.
The sexy whisper doesn't do any favor for their vocals but I love the songs and they're pretty good as a band. I heard Lim's guitar stopped working halfway into Nobody, poor Lim.
They aren't used to singing while playing with their instruments yet (they all sounded best in Rewind when they weren't holding anything) but I think they will get better. I mean, I can understand you're essentially focusing on two things at the same time. Practice makes perfect, their playing still sounded good in my opinion though I think the sound did go in and out for some of the mics/instruments.
My soul is happy because they performed Rewind. They all have iffy vocals except for Yenny so I wasn't expecting the world, LOL. The only thing that made me cringe was the "I feel you" performance.
Rewind and Baby Don't Play!! were the best performances I Feel You is not good live, the ~sexy whisper~ does their vocals no favors esp Lim They all look good af though even Lim who I never find pretty but that slicked back hair is good on her
I really hate to fall prey to the whole "disliking the non-original member thing," but Lim really doesn't fit in here. When they were on the cute, spunky side with "Like This" it worked, but now that Sunmi is back and they're going for sultry, she really sticks out like a sore thumb. Her vocals on IFY stand out in a bad way. Sunmi obviously isn't a main vocalist but her vocal tone just blends better.
This was a great showcase and Lim is TOTALLY useful. I always liked her more than Sohee because at least her live vocals were always steady & pleasant to the ears.
It was nice to hear these versions although I hope they one day work out a live rendition of 'Rewind'
Yeah though I like Sohee more, Lim's no more "useless" than Sohee so idk why people act like she's the one unneeded one (saying "Lim's not pretty like Sohee" doesn't count and is rude af). Both girls are bad vocals but do/did sing live, dance(d) their choreo fine and are good performers, and both are good personalities, overall the minimum expectations I have for a decent idol.
I Feel You is so much better with the guitar and keyboard live sound. Disappointed this version isn't available to buy. Anyway, out of ALL the very difficult things they are doing on stage - the only thing to pick out is Lim's voice? Come on, this isn't Youtube comments.
I feel you sounds better live! It is obvious they were nervous and not used to playing, singing and dancing at the same time. Maybe it's the concept but they were too pokerfaced/expressionless during the live perf. as good as the song was, i couldn't fully enjoy it with them looking /dead/ anyway rewind is still my fave song. so so so good!! and i loooove the live perf
why is everyone shitting on lim um sohee barely did anything either but look pretty?? at least lim can dance rap and speak different languages like she's there for a reason obviously
