October is the month of the debuts of many upcoming idol groups.
We will be seeing debuts from B2ST, MBLAQ, Secret, December, JQT, Top.AZ, Lady Collection, Child of Empire etc.
And of these groups, some of them have already revealed themselves via reality programmes.
For one, upcoming 6-member group B2ST have revealed themselves via ‘MTV B2ST’. Even though this is the first time group B2ST, it is not the first for its group members – AJ Lee GiGwang who debuted solo beginning of this year, Yoon DooJoon who appeared on Mnet ‘Hot Blood’, Jang HyunSeung who appeared on ‘MTV Big Bang’ and Young JoonHyung who came from group XING. Other members Yang YoSeop and Son DongWoon have also practised for a long time for their debut.
‘Rain’s group’ MBLAQ is also set to debut mid-October. MBLAQ is a 5-member boyband under JTunes Entertainment groomed personally by singer Rain himself. The group consists of ex TYKEYS member Jung ByungHee and also younger brother Bang CheolYoung of actress Go EunAh.
And there is Secret, consisting of ex-member Jeon HyoSeong of 5Girls (in which WonderGirls YooBin and After School UEE were from), Song JiEun, Han SeonHwa and rapper Zinger.
JQT consists of members Park MinJung (who used to be part of i-13), Lee JiEun and Park GaJin. And member Joo MinSeon was chosen from 200 auditionees to join the group JQT.
There is also Child of Empire, comprising of 9 members, preparing for their debut. The members of the group had trained for 4 years together with Jewelry members Ha JooYeon and Kim Eun Jung. And for these guys, they have already garnered great interests and popularity through their appearance on Mnet ‘Empire’s Children’.
We are also in for some great vocal groups – December, Top.AZ, Lady Collection. While the competition amongst the idol groups keep brewing, we see that the ballad groups are also emerging.
Much anticipation is for the new groups in this month.
