'Marriage is a slow death' is legit one of my mottos!!! I paused aepisode of RealGot7very serious book I was reading for this and it was worth it! These guys have a really strong eye for visuals. I know they do their own songs and stuff but idk how hands on they are with everything else...either way, this is a great look, love the theme. I wonder how their younger fanbase is gonna take that marriage line lmaaoooo
I'm not going to say SHINee doesn't have any delusional fans because it isn't true. Every group has a few.
But at the same time, they debuted 7 years ago and most of their fans have grown up with them. They've always been genuine with fans but never really encouraged any sort of obsession. Many male groups have issues with sasaeng fans stalking them, but they apparently gave up on SHINee because the boys were too boring for them.
Jjong had a dating "scandal" with an actress named Shin Sekyung in late 2010 that caused some controversy, but since then Minho's had romantic lead roles in dramas and Key and Onew have both played romantic leads on stage without much backlash. Their recent appearance on SNL included a skit making fun of obsessive fangirls.
THIS 70S CAMPY HORROR REALNESS. AND THE OT5NESS. I'M SCREAMING. I've realized that this concept is perfect for them and the same that VIXX's brand is the gore-ish horror concept, SHINee's brand should be the black comedy / campy horror concept.
