Kris' Studio Responds to SM AGAIN...spills all the tea!

On July 31st of 2015, SM Entertainment publicly filed a lawsuit against Wu Yifan (WYF), citing his commercial activities in China as violation of his contract and the reason for this lawsuit. For this, WYF gave this studio the right to release this statement:

On January 15, 2008, WYF traveled to Korea alone and became an SM trainee in order to fulfill his dream of becoming a celebrity. After signing a contract with SM, the company continuously delayed WYF’s debut plans.

After finally debuting in 2012, WYF encountered another issue: the company had suddenly canceled his part (after a few weeks of practice). In January 2013, when WYF asked the manager about it, SM forced him to leave EXO (lasting for a few months), purposefully putting his career on hold. After negotiations and returning to the group, WYF continued to experience oppressive treatment and unfair distribution of resources.

During the comeback, the manager’s prejudice in combination with a high workload and little rest led to health problems.

In July 2013, WYF began relying on IV drips and shots to maintain his energy and work until he returned to China in January 2014 to find that he had symptoms of myocarditis. However, SM didn’t arrange any treatment or rest.

With the unequal treatment, lack of opportunities, and lack of future plans, WYF lost faith completely.

Because the reasons above, WYF filed a lawsuit on May 15, 2014 at the Seoul Central District Court, asking the court to void his contract with SM.

On May 14, 2015, the court gave its decision and confirmed that SM must give all rights of management outside of Korea to a third party determined by WYF.

The studio believes that the court’s ruling is fair and just, yet after a year of this, SM continues with another lawsuit, unhappy with the court’s ruling. SM does this to stall the process of canceling the contract, further keeping WYF from living his life and doing his job.

WYF has and will always be grateful to SM and the people who helped him grow as a celebrity. He accepted the court’s decision before and will continue to follow the legal rulings on his contract lawsuit.

At the same time, WYF has hired a professional team of lawyers, Chinese and Korean, to assist in the lawsuit, and he will continue to fulfill his work commitments in China.

Until the lawsuit is finished, WYF and the studio will no longer speak about the lawsuit and anything related to the mess between SM and WYF. Everything will be handled by the lawyers.

So let's do some analysis, shall we?Everyone comfortable? Sugar?More biscuits?

1-The claim of a manager discriminating against him.When Kris left in 2014 Sina published a rumour talking about how a female staff member disliked him and deliberately excluded him.The hints seem to be pointing towards manager Ahreum.I only know of Kris being close with one exo manager who was male.

2-Myocarditis. Again we had evidence of soemthing being off as far back as February 2014 when Kris went to Guangzhou for Chinese New Year (and was visibly sick at the airport)and a nurse posted a picture of him getting a test which some translated as cardiac ultrasound,others as an electrocardiogram.Then a week or so after he filed we got pictures of him with his mom at a hospital in the Cardio wing.

3-Hiatus.Now this is especially interesting.Back then SM claimed it was visa issues, post lawsuit they said he abandoned EXO but was convinced to return,then rumors that he had tried to go solo in that time but failed and now Kris' side saying that he was kicked out.I see people speculating what the practiced for weeks thing means and I might wager that it was a movie role/appearance of some sort that was cancelled on him abruptly.We know he had movie offers as far back as then and SM rejected a lot of them.

4-The health issues/overwork/IV drops thing, I mean come on.The rest of EXO and SM's other artists are pretty much a walking exhibit A example of that.

5-SM rejecting the court decision was posted here a while back and I'm not surprised.The fact that the court ruled in a way that was favourable to Kris doesn't bode well for them.If SM had accepted the resoloution it would have barred him from working in Korea and they can't accept just that.They're committed to dragging this out.Good thing Kris has an armada of lawyers too now.

Okay so I didn't know a lot of this because I wasn't around when all this shit went on.
But symptoms of myocarditis? What in the flaming hell?! Even if it hadn't turned out/didn't turn out to be myocarditis (I don't know, did it?) the symptoms can be fucking agony. I know, we went through a scare with my husband.
He was on shots and IV to get him through the day? That's fucking disgusting.

So turns out his myocarditis was not just a rumour. It's sad, I hope he gets the proper treatment (which SME never bothered to give him).

Interesting that he implies he had temporarily been kicked out because he stood up for himself and started questioning and not simply accept his parts getting canceled out of a whim. Makes you wonder what other kind of petty reason SME had to kick Jessica out.

Remember when SME said it was visa issue and when they gave him the boot, he suddenly "fled" to canada cause he's a chinese betraydol. Sme, you lying liar.

Can we take a minute to acknowledge how ridiculous it was for SME to kick Kris out in early 2013. That was the height of his/luhan's #trending (for no reason other than all the pretty) and there's noooo way EXO-M would have made it without him. Literally 6 months into their career and SME had already gotten rid of half of EXO's relevance in China.

I always joke taht SME purposely killed EXO-M and only created OT12 promotions to build up EXO-K, but now I think they were actually purposely preparing to fade out EXO-M altogether from around February 2013. EXO-M was giving to kiss of death the moment SME approved kicking out Kris. SOOOO MUCH STUPIDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!

I'm surprised by the being "temporary" kicked out, I mean not that SME would do such a thing (I could see it as a warning, but wow. It puts even more weight to Jessica words. I wonder if people still think she was lying (mainly not here). I also found it interesting that the court ruled that he activities pretty much everywhere but Korea. I wonder if other displaced member (ie Kibum, Jessica), have similar stuff were they are just not allowed to promote in the music industry. I know they didn't sue, but it is interesting. I also wonder if this what happened to Tao, but now SME wants to change that. All in all very interesting.

the sad part is that even with all the lawsuits, every EXO-M member has stated that they were okay with paying their dues and are grateful for everything they learned/did in Korea. hey even tried to negotiate multiple times before leaving, and they were actually asking for this that would bring in more profit for SME. They wouldn't have sued if SME had just approved a movie role every now and than, actually promoted EXO-M, and give the members a vacation when they have a doctor's note.
