Such a pretty girl. I know Omona (And half of the Sone fandom) has a general dislike of her but idk, I think her personality is cute. It's her constant adlibs and belting that gets on my nerves...
I love Tiffany. Yes, she's a valley girl, she tries "too hard." Jessica said once in an interview that she admired Tiffany's courage to come to Korea by herself. Jessica came with her family and was already fluent in Korean, Tiffany was alone in SM's crazy strict training program speaking broken Korean, her father didn't want her to go, her mother passed away when she was little. Girl is brave, she's been through a lot, she's more successful than most people her age and she tries her hardest every performance. Can't help but admire her, will never understand why people hate her.
Same. I mean, people might find it annoying how she overdoes things at times - but I guess that's just her personality. She struggled a lot when she was younger and she's well aware that she lacks in so many areas so she kind of overcompensates but at least she always presents her best.
exactly! I feel like she overcompensates a lot for the flaws netizens are so vocal about, the "ddilpany" label, not being able to dance as well, less than perfect Korean etc. But she also never half-asses anything, that alone should give her some credit in an environment where idols get criticized for letting their exhaustion/sleep deprivation/injuries/illnesses show on their facial expressions and body language (which needless to say is pretty fucked up) but instead she gets dissed as a tryhard. I guess being in a girl group is a lose/lose kind of game

Same. I love her. She was my first ever bias in SNSD right from their debut so she'll always have a special place in my heart. I always thought she was so strong and brave for moving to a new country, not speaking the language, and losing her mom at such a young age.
The hate she gets here (just for being a "tryhard") can be so OTT sometimes compared to people who have actually done/said consistent problematic (racist/sexist/etc.) things. I can't recall if she's ever done/said anything that deserves that much hate besides being a tryhard, but I see so many people that hate her like crazy, and it just seems like an overreaction to me. I don't know, I just have a lot of feelings when it comes to Tiffany.
