Hi Omona! I hate summer, it gets so hot and humid where I live. T_T Also, I haven't had air conditioning for the past month and it has been the absolute worst. Luckily, it just got fixed yesterday, so I can return to hiding indoors from the sun and heat. As for summer treat, bingsu was a great discovery for me.

i got food poisoning. its really awkward discussing ur bodily functions at office, which one has to when your colleagues ask you why you were late or missing for the meeting :/
then you try to tiptoe around the issue being all "i was just freshening up" which they dont get. then u say "slight stomach issues....teeheehheee" but they dont buy it.

then you finally say "MY FUDGE FACTORY DECIDED TO START A LIMITED EDITION OF HOT CHOCO LAVA CAKES!!! DO YOU GUYS GET IT NOWWW????"

then they are like "...oh. ok then"

summer's not bad, honestly speaking, but if the electricity keeps on going out then i'm going to start hating summer tbh --- also i'm moving to cambodia and afaik there isn't much of a winter there so i'm kind of ....sad about that but oh well. 2 years. i can live through it.

i'm just glad my sickness is over (touchwood) and now i can finally enjoy all the indian streetfoods and my ice cream happily (and cautiously ofc) until i move in about 2 weeks \o/

I have a friend who had canker sores ALL THE TIME. One year, he asked us what he should give up for Lent because his usual option of fried foods were no longer part of his diet. So I suggested soda. The first week, he would bitch me out at EVERY meal cause water and juice weren't cutting it. By the second week, he realized his canker sores were going away and by the third he was canker sore free.

It's been a few years and he said after trying to go back, he realized clear soda was okay but anything with color would make them come back.

hello everyone! happy weekend!! o3o
i love summer most of the time! it has my bday and holidays at the seaside and pool time! i can usually take the heat and i spend most of my time indoors when home, so it's okay. i'm really missing london lately tho... i've decided i'm spending next summer there instead of coming back home.

also i was saying in a ffa some weeks ago that i wanted to bleach my hair and last week i finally did it myself bc my hairstylist literally wanted a ton of money for it, so no thanks. it actually turned out pretty good and it's still soft and shiny. i'm getting pink dye next week and i'm hoping to get something like onew/suga had. hopefully it's light enough rn bc i'm anxious to bleach it again.

i'm sitting here, drinking makgeolli, trying to get work off my head. i'm getting a bit done with my job, but then again i know i wouldn't be able to find a place with such awesome colleagues like i have now (they're the best, really), so i'm trying to figure out my money sources. i kinda just want to start a travel blog and get the hell out of here -- but then i'd start to miss having people, these people around in about a week or two.
more first world problems: i need to get some more furniture in my room, i have way too much stuff lying on the floor now. but then... what if i decide to travel after all? it's just gonna be a hassle to sell it, and i'll need every cent. choices...
so yeah, i think my life is pretty good, just a bit unmotivated now. going to try and get more sleep over the weekend, and then it will be fine.

in kpop land i'm enjoying all the exo and tao things so much. and still have shinee's view and red velvet's ice cream on my playlist regularly. it's such a nice kpop year in my book.

Maybe you could try buying that cheap kind of "temporary" furniture Ikea sells? (Idk where you live tho) I used their material wardrobe and it's decent, same with material shoe rack. They also have trolleys (meant for kitchen) that do their job as temporary furniture.
They are all pretty small after de-assembling and aren't big burden while moving out. I recently moved out and they took little space and were pretty convinient. My sister sild her material wardrobes easily on local craigslist too.
Many funiture shops sell that kind of stuff, maybe it would be a good option for you :)

I haven't seen Secret (except for bits) until this week, I binge watched it through one day and it was a rollercoaster. In a good way. I saw 49 days long time ago and I didn't liked it as much. Mask is ending next week and honestly, despite of how flustating it is at times, I will miss it. Mostly because of Joo Ji Hoon :p

i like summer! it's just kind of sweaty. i'm lucky i don't sweat like my dad/sister
i haven't been called in for work yet and it's been 3 weeks so idk what is going on there. dad still has no job and my sister is going to long-term psychiatric care even tho she doesn't need it. idk what that outpatient program is doing but they're not great people

i've lived in the south my whole life, so i've always hated summer. this is my first summer in florida, and while it's terribly muggy, at least we get some form of rain every day. :') though we're getting too much this weekend.
our a/c was shot to shit when we moved in, but we finally got it fixed today. hopefully it'll be a long time before we have to replace the entire unit.

i got in to see a doctor this week and had labs done three days in a row. 1st was for protime inr, which was low, so they adjusted my dose of thinners. the 2nd was routine stuff, like checking sugar levels and cholesterol. they said my iron and vitamin d levels were slightly low. vitamin d is cause i don't get outside much, cause who wants to go outside when it's hot??? so i'm on that once a week now. low iron was probably cause (tmi) my cycle had just ended. but they wanted a closer look, so i went yesterday for that.

i have to go back to the ~anticoagulation clinic~ on tuesday, and then see the regular doctor on wednesday. i'm tired of doctors, y'all.

btw, is anyone else having trouble staying logged into LJ? it logs me out every few hours.

I'm really excited for tomorrow because it's my first photoshoot! Well, I'm not the model (naturally!) but I'm the photographer/stylist along with a teacher and another student.
we're going to focus on the male fashion and we're going to make them have a dandy style while they will have these incredibly colorful hair and beard!
