EXO’s Chanyeol Confirmed For New SBS Pilot Program

It has been reported that EXO’s Chanyeol is going to appear on the new SBS pilot program “18 Seconds.”

Lee Kyung Gyu and announcer Bae Sung Jae have paired up as the MCs of the show and it has been confirmed that Chanyeol, Kim Na Young, profiler Pyo Chang Won, Kim Jong Min, and movie director Bong Man Dae will appear as guests on the show.

The show “18 Seconds” is inspired by the fact that the average person focuses for about 18 seconds when watching a video on their smartphones.

The purpose of this show is for the guests to create a 18 second video with the highest view count in the world. Through using apps on smartphones, this show embeds a new way for viewers to interact with their favorite celebrities.

On July 24, an official involved in the show revealed that “the show will be made in a format in which eight celebrity guests who are representatives of their own genre of the entertainment industry will battle each other for popularity. ”

this seems like a really terrible premise for a TV show but i can see why they cast him so...goodluck?

he's slowly becoming a variety star isn't he .-. it seems like he might have the best image in korea along with D.O and I guess Suho?

I think him and D.O are most known&with the best image, Suho is not that popular like them but generally liked (?). Xiumin is enigma - from whole team he's the VIP level among public nobody knows why lol. Baekhyun could have had it all but oreogate happened.

I can see why they continually putting him in shows among "adults" - he can talks a lot but control/care enough to not come with some potentially scandal inducing bs to seniors, his puppy persona make them sunbaes melt and he still didn't fuck up Korea wise
