I've grown so fond of them watching the show. Now I'm really excited about their debut. I went crazy and I start to follow all the twice's tumblr that I found.
To think that in the first episode I didn't like Nayeon and now I just want to hug her ^^

honestly these are the two members for whom i have the most warm feelings ♥ in the beginning i was a bit wary of nayeon but now she's my bias lol. she is so genuine and oh gosh SHE'S SO PRETTY! and when she's on stage she legit looks like she's having so much fun. this girl ~shines~

and then tzuyu is my taiwanese bb yas get that jyp girl group maknae spot ;)

anyway I like nayeon and tzuyu here :) still proud of tzuyu being the only kpop idol from taiwan. I'm not taiwanese but still a chinese and relate to taiwanese people > china.

tbh I like all of Twice so much that putting any 2 members for the first ep would still make me happy! (except Dahyun, I completely forgot about her when I was thinking about this; only liked her parts at the variety camp, other than that she isn't that charming nor witty, sorry :( weird because she seemed smart enough during charades. I have the least faith in her she really seems like she has hit her peak potential I just wish she could prove us wrong) also secretly bitter and wishing Somi was old/experienced enough to have been in Twice because she is a dream to watch :(

whatever it is, I just need more Sana any time any where......

there's no way there still isn't a tag for twice tho?! like it's gonna get messy soon with twice tv weekly and I'm sure jyp gonna promo the hell out of them after twice tv, I need a tag to track x.x

I was kind of confused at the part of being the only idol from Taiwan watching the video, until I realize that the ones that I was thinking -Mark (GOT7), Henry (SJ M) and Amber f(x)- were of taiwanese descent but born and raised on America.
And I agree to the tag thing. I don't want to miss anything.

yeah!! I guess I need to correct my original sentence, I meant raised in taiwan only* ^^ no idols were raised in only taiwan and since the other ABCs have english culture in them already so Tzuyu would be pretty unpredictable/unique to watch and get to know about! ;)

also about Mark, I was at first really excited about him being Taiwanese but I have a strong feeling he hates speaking chinese and sucks at it lol and so goes to lengths to avoid speaking it during interviews even when they are doing a sina chinese interview he just says one word answers like "yes" or "no" every. single. time. T_T or maybe he just has another reason. I just wish he was comfortable speaking it like Jackson is because they usually express themselves more in chinese vs korean :(

You're probably right, if all his family speaks english and he didn't live in Taiwan, he must not be comfortable with the language. However, I think the thing with Mark is that he's extrovert but shy. So even if he is all silly when they're all together having fun, he pretty much never talks in interviews. I'm going to guess because the attention will be located on him. In fact, him saying something at all in an interview it's a surprise already. I guess the only way to hear him talk will be the interviews in english because he and Jackson are the only ones fluent on it, and he can let only Jackson talk lol

I don't think its because he doesnt like to speak it, but more like hes very shy. He's probably not too good at it so it makes him nervous having to speak it, esp in China

He's not good expressing himself in any language (that's why he makes up for it with silly expressions), but he seemed most comfortable in English, then Korean, then Mandarin. But he was getting better at the end of their Chinese showcases earlier this year.

Nayeon has really taken on the mother role since Lena left and now she's the oldest. Either she or Jihyo, or maybe even Jeongyeon will be great leaders. Nayeon is good at getting input from others, while Jihyo can get friendly with new trainees fast.

Nayeon is also a pretty decent all-rounder, and she knows how to have fun on stage, in fact most of Twice know how to have fun. I was worried that she would be too concerned with looking pretty on stage after the first two missions, but she let loose and had fun afterward.

Tzuyu is gorgeous and I hope JYPE hires good vocal trainers for her because I like her and Mina's vocal tones.

ohhhhhhhh if a damn good vocal trainer could boost Mina + Sana + Tzuyu and they learn fast, just think about the vocal colours Twice's live performances would have *.* they just have the sweetest voices. I saw really good comments on Mina's voice and Sana's cute rap during the last performance and felt the same way too. also, I think being and growing up Japanese is why they have such sweet and gentle voices :)
