As fun a song as Party is I don't think it has any of that Soshi magic which would normally have me bopping like a maniac. It's not just that their sound is different, but I don't think this image suits them? Like it's all bouncy and happy and some of the girls are carrying it off but something's missing and I'm pretty sure it's the arrangement of the song. It needs something peppy and bright and more SNSD. Or if they're looking to change their image, this isn't enough of a departure.

Idk I love them a lot so I have a lot of opinions. I hope their next few songs wow me.

Also this girl group summer throwdown was disappointing, none of the girls wowed me with their releases which is a shame because I pretty much love all of the girl groups currently promoting!

Honestly for me, the 2015 KPop Summer Jam goes to Seventeen for Adore U with honorable mention to Got7's Just Right (the boy groups are coming out with bops this summer).

I agree with you. Party irritates me to no end. I hope You Think is the jam I've been waiting for from them. It's funny, my sis just got into kpop and judging by their recent songs she keeps saying she doesn't understand why this is the top GG. She only likes Yoona. I'm like, "girl, I gotta take you back in time!"
