Emma Stone talks about Kpop and 2NE1 on "Conan"!

It looks like actress Emma Stone has caught the K-Pop bug too!

On the July 14 broadcast of late-night talk show “Conan,” Emma Stone appears as a guest to promote her new movie “Irrational Man.”

During the interview, Emma Stone reveals that K-Pop is her latest obsession.

When host Conan O’Brien asks her to explain what K-Pop to those who might not know what it is, Emma Stone replies, “It’s a global phenomenon, so I’m sure everybody already knows what it is.”

She adds, “It’s Korean pop music, and it’s beyond excellent. It’s the best thing you’ve ever seen.”

Emma Stone chooses 2NE1 as her current favorite group, revealing how she first got acquainted with them, “When we did the ‘Spider Man‘ premiere in Seoul, Korea, we were on stage with a band called 2NE1.”

She chooses 2NE1′s older hit “I Am the Best” as her favorite song from the group, an excerpt of which is then shown on screen.

It's probably got to do with Scooter, but on the other hand, i've noticed a lot of non-kpop fans seem to like 2ne1 and Big Bang the best when presented a selection of kpop groups, while groups like Suju and SNSD (earlier eras) are too gimmicky and "lame", so I am not really surprised.

I'm baffled that two acting incidents make her such an awful person, yet there are plenty of actors/actresses that are far more problematic than her. She's only 26 for God's sake, so she made a mistake taking a role that some other white actress would've played because the director whitewashed the characters not the cast itself it's not the first time it's happened in Hollywood and it's obviously not going to be the last. There's always going to be that white actor/actress that has to bite the bullet when no one else will take the part because the directors/casting team choose who they want for the part, not the actors/actresses approached/want the part.
