Synopsis:
When a serial killer strikes women who all have a similar appearance, the police department’s Special Crime Investigation Team is stumped. While Cha Ji An (Jang Na Ra), an elite detective, and her fellow colleagues are assessing the latest crime scene, the mysterious Lee Hyun (Seo In Guk) shows up and instantly assesses the trademark attributes of the killer. Hyun is a genius criminal profiler with a degree in criminal psychology who received an anonymous email that brought him to the crime scene all the way from the United States. The serial killer seems to be sending a personal message to Hyun with the clues he leaves behind, and Hyun wonders if it could be related to an escaped criminal “monster” from his childhood who killed his father and was responsible for the disappearance of his younger brother. Ji An has known Hyun since childhood and is ecstatic to see her childhood crush again, but Hyun doesn’t seem to remember her. With no leads to capture the serial killer, Ji An and her colleagues solicit Hyun’s help. Can Hyun and Ji An solve the case and find answers to their pasts? “I Remember You” is a 2015 South Korean drama series directed by No Sang Hoon.

for a single moment I thought shady lawyer wasn't that shady until ep 7 and 8. Oh Dear Oh Dear, what has Lee Joon Young done to you that you became like this? This can't be just a strange big-brother-complex, though the look in his eyes when he saw Lee Hyeon being exceptionally caring over that boy in ep 7 and 8 spoke for itself.
So sad that boy had to die and I can't believe it's from that infection alone.

I like how the story has really picked up now, ep 7 and 8 must be my favourites now.

real conclusion of these past 4 eps: Seo In Guk continues to be hot as hell XD

edit: what I also really liked about these past 4 eps is that the other characters got their time to shine: Team Leader can literally kick some butt and is actually a smart cookie, Ji Ahn is not a lady you can simply walk over and Dave's biggest admirer is actually useful.
+ also major props to the casting director because even the side-characters are really good.

yep I think Min's upping his game bc Hyun & JiAn's convo in prison not recognizing him. Well I think Min was real one w/ psychopathic tendencies and Hyun covered it up when they were little.

The thing is I think Min's continuing what Joonyoung started & adding his artwork. Question that I have is who killed Hyun's mom.. Joonyoung? Hyun doesn't remember that.

I liked this week's eps much more too. Good on them casting the lawyer bc he looks hella creeepy.

yes, it's troubling him clearly that Hyun still doesn't recognize him.

I think it's also becoming pretty obvious that we can conclude that Hyun was covering up Min when they were still children; I mean if you just judge by his paintings now then you know he lied to his dad by saying that Hyun made those creepy drawings in their sketchbook.

ohhh, Min continuing where Joon Young left off seems really plausible. Wouldn't it be weird that their dad would be Joon Young's sort of counsellor if he killed his wife? Though by kdrama logic anything is possible.

Omg it never occurred to me that Hyun was covering for his brother as a child. I was wondering why Joon Young would take Min when he'd only shown interest in Hyun but maybe the secret Hyun told Joon young was about his brother showing signs of being a psychopath

In flashbacks we always see Hyun cleaning up after Min. We also saw Min telling his dad that his sketchbook drawings were his brothers & that Hyun can't be trusted. Not sure about why Joonyoung took Min, maybe he wanted to play with Hyun/ so he can meet him again.

...Also, I can't help but feel that Hyun is keeping the doctor close to him on purpose. Like that dinner had such a palpable underlying tension, he's constantly profiling him.

Well...shady lawyer was shady AND Min the serial killer...just as we thought

Joon Young straight up took Min from Lee Hyun AFTER killing their Father...ugh. Hyun clearly knows the ME is Joon Young (or just crazy) and he suspects the lawyer but does he also think he's Min?

The fact Min hasn't reached out to him when Lee Hyun is famous and easily located must be suspicious to him

Ji An just stabbing that dude repeatedly and trying to kill him WITH the pen and fighting back...yes

Team Leader beating the suspect down...and then still being a dork

I'm annoyed that Ji An is more accepting of the shady lawyer. Good thing is that she knows Hyun is looking for his brother but she doesn't know that he's the serial killer. Good on Hyun recovering some of his memories but did Joon young kill his mom too.. the original flower killer and Min carried it on later.

Yes Mom was killed but I think Min just helped arrange his MO to mimic it because he is killing like Joon Young with no bodies

Would make sense. I feel all these "mini" murders are connect to the bigger~ Min murders. SO the guy who was tricked into helping his fathers killer is foreshadowing Min being used by LJY.

yeah, but Min should def know that JY killed his dad bc he saw him fighting with his dad. Thing is that he said he hated his dad for taking/isolating Hyun away from him since Hyun's his favorite person in the world.
Probably will change after he finds out that JY probably killed his mom...(at least that's it implies w/ the same flowers at the scene).
I think it's really interesting that they showed the Indian story about the wolves... Min's extreme love for his brother warped into hatred.. I guess that's only way to justify him going away w/ JY

Ji Ahn just doesn't see Min the same way as we viewers do so it makes sense that's she's becoming somewhat accepting of him after he became her saving angel.

I'm really enjoying this drama. It is a pleasant surprise, I really couldn't tell if it would be good from the promo but I like the fact that the romance is taking a back seat to the serial killers and mystery of his lost memories. Also Kyungsoo is completely creepy and scares me when I'm watching this alone at night, and that lawyer, and the neighbor/doctor, actually all of them are creepy.

I just want to say: "I told you so" and "this ship sails itself". I didn't' watch the brothers monologue with subs, but everything about their childhood is both sad and horrifying, and k-scriptwriters need to stop turning cute brothers into serial killers.

My hopes for future episodes: bros+Ji Ahn love-triangle, JA helping both of them come to terms, JA putting them both in jail (LH's crime would be aiding and abetting (which he's been doing since day 1)), lil bro killing LJY.

He knows there's another serial killer (behind all these small fries) and has yet to inform the police (and is even using them to help track down his "target") mainly because he knows the serial killer is somehow related to his brother. I assume after he finally find Min the killer he'll have a day or 2 a being silence by guilt, and in drama world JA finds out about Min before H can give him up to the police.

now I'm really curious how Hyun is going to handle the truth when he finds out. Up to this point he knows that lawyer is shady as f*ck and I guess he thinks that his little brother could be somehow involved in the murders but that they're one and the same person is going to be quite the shocker. Not only that they're the same person but that he's been around his little brother all the time already but he simply didn't recognize him.

love love love this series. i like the phasing. so far, its nicely written (at least for me) coz i like how the crimes they solve is somehow connected with Lee Hyeon's past.

the cast is just perfect for the roles they play. i cant believe Lee Jin Wook turned this down.

but i still dislike how ji ahn is so oblivious 90% of the time to everything >.>
seo in guk continues to be hot af.
the reveal of the creepy lawyer dude to be the brother was definitely a surprise. i really want to know why he wants to much revenge though. did you know that he's a '93 liner? i couldn't believe it.
kyungsoo's acting has gotten really good as well, probs could make it in the acting industry and a solo artist lbr.

I really enjoyed these two episodes. The police work is dodgy and none of the cases that interesting, but I like the individual characters and their interactions so enjoying this. I also like what they are doing with the romance - giving the otp some time together, some subtle skinship etc here and there but not forcing it (i.e thank you show for not having that scene be a kiss scene but an awkward lets go on a date scene!) or focusing on it too much. (I actually think jang nara and seo in guk feel more like siblings so I hope they stay platonic for long time haha) I also loved seeing jang nara throw herself into that fight scene.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. D.O how could you take a bby? Lol. Writers didn't really hide who the lawyer was, but I'm glad we got background on what happened. Wasn't expecting Min to know who Hyeon was, and I also didn't expect him to be hurt that Hyeon didn't recognize him. His first love, that's sweet, lol.

I can't imagine what Joonyoung did to him.

I still want to believe that Hyeon was the one being protected from Min and not the the world being protected from Hyeon.
