Welcome to the first article of our Top 10 series! Our Top 10 series will cover the best items from Korean cosmetics and skincare brands. We’ve got you covered as we reveal the best-sellers and cult favorites for popular Korean brands. The first brand we will spotlight is Innisfree. With the ever-gorgeous Girls’ Generation’s YoonA as their longtime spokesmodel, the brand has become increasingly popular with their nature-themed products. The natural brand draws much of its inspiration from Korea’s own Jeju Island. This list will incorporate statistics from Innisfree, popular opinion, and personal experiences to determine the top items. Without further ado, I introduce the Top 10 Must-Have Innisfree Products below!

10. It’s Real Squeeze Sheet Masks

innisfree02.jpg

Innisfree has a large variety of wonderful sheet masks free of harmful ingredients like parabens. There are different types of sheet masks that are suitable for everyone’s budget and skin type. The brand’s most affordable It’s Real Squeeze Sheet Masks remain their most popular sheet mask product. If you have acne-prone skin, try the tea tree version. If you have dry skin, the shea butter mask is moisturizing. Their sheet masks also come in fruity variations like kiwi, blackberry, and lime. You can buy them in larger sets and pamper your skin often. Innisfree also has fancier sheet masks including their Second Skin Masks, Intensive Ampoule Masks, and Hydrogel Masks.

9. No Sebum Powders

innisfree03.jpg

The No Sebum Mineral powders are great for individuals with oily skin who want to banish excess shine. They come in two different forms: loose powder and pressed power. Both work wonders for setting foundation and bb cream beautifully. The brand recently came out with a No Blur rendition of their popular finishing powder which acts like a HD powder to blur imperfections. It also comes in loose powder and pressed powder variations.

8. Jeju Volcanic Scrub and Clay Mask

innisfree04.jpg

Innisfree is a go-to brand for anyone concerned with blackheads and enlarged pores with over 18 products designed to target those problems. Their Jeju Volcanic products utilizes volcanic clusters which are basically volcanic minerals found around Jeju volcanoes. They are super effective at clearing out blackheads and impurities. Both the volcanic pore scrub foam and clay mask are popular best-sellers. The scrub is gentle enough to use a couple times a week depending on the sensitivity of your skin. The super volcanic pore clay mask can be used weekly or bimonthly based on your specific pore concerns. The original pore clay mask is better for individuals with smaller pores or more sensitive skin.

7. Eco Safety Perfect Sun Block

innisfree05.jpg

This sunblock is Innisfree’s most popular sunblock product. With its SPF 50+ and PA+++ coverage, it will surely help to protect you from sun damage. It uses titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to provide sun protection. These ingredients are considered to be safer than oxybenzone which might be linked to breast cancer. This sunblock is lightweight and great for everyday use. It also has a No Sebum version for individuals with oily skin.

6. Forest for Men Grooming Set

innisfree06.jpg

We couldn’t leave out the guys for this top ten, especially with the hunky Lee Min Ho as the male spokesmodel for the brand. Actually, Innisfree’s male products are quite popular and effective. This Forest for Men Grooming Set is included amongst their top-selling items. It includes a deep cleansing foam, skin (moisturizing toner), and a lotion. Basically all the essentials a male would need.

5. Eco Science Wrinkle Spot Essence

innisfree07.jpg

Innisfree really caters to customers of all ages and skin concerns. The brand has many popular anti-aging products. The most popular of those has to be the Eco Science Wrinkle Spot Essence. This essence is used to target any wrinkle areas you might have. It is widely used around the eye area and laugh lines. If you don’t have any wrinkles yet, it’s also a great product to use for prevention. The Eco Science Recover Spot Essence is also popular for targeting various problem areas.

4. Soybean Energy Essence

innisfree08.jpg

The Soybean Energy Essence is designed to be used as the first step in a skincare routine. The amino acid-rich essence provides moisture and calms skin while smoothing and softening skin with its soybean extract. The essence can be used straight from the bottle or with a cotton round depending on your preference. After application the product gets quickly absorbed by skin and is odorless.

3. Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil

innisfree09.jpg

The Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil is the brand’s most popular make-up remover. The cleansing oil is gentle and boasts a delicious, light apple scent. Effectively removing make-up, this is great for taking off any foundation or bb cream. If you want to remove more, pair this cleansing oil with the Apple Juicy Lip and Eye Makeup Remover. For individuals who prefer cleansing waters, their Green Tea Pure Cleansing Water is also great.

2. Green Tea Lotion, Skin, and Cream

innisfree10.jpg

Basic skin essentials are one of the brand’s greatest strengths. Their green tea line is popular due to being suitable for a wide range of varying skin types. The Green Tea Moisture products are targeted toward individuals with dry skin while the Green Tea Fresh items are great for those with oily skin. If you have combination skin, the most popular Green Tea Balancing line will be perfect. From the Green Tea line, the Green Tea Balancing Cream remains a best-seller.

1. Green Tea Seed Serum and Cream

innisfree11.jpg

Despite the popularity of the regular Green Tea line products, the Green Tea Seed products are even more well-loved. The Green Tea Seed Serum remains the brand’s most popular and best-selling product. The lightweight serums gives your skin moisture that’s full of amino acids and minerals from the squeezed green tea and green tea seed oil. This product should be among one of the first steps in your skincare routine (after the Soybean Energy Essence) as it helps subsequent products absorb much deeper which helps nourish your skin effectively. With a fresh scent to boot, the product is a favorite for individuals who want to calm and restore their sensitive skin. As for the Green Tea Seed Cream, it provides more moisture as the last part of a skincare regimen by locking everything in. There is a Green Tea Seed Deep Cream version that is great for people with dry skin or in cold winter months.

I need to look into that sebum powder and cleansing oil.Can anyone testify whether the latter is actually that good for makeup removal?

Dunno about the later, but the No Sebum Mineral powder is the best thing that happened to me. I've got oily but dry skin, and this powder works miracles in controlling the sebum, seriously. It's really cheap too (if you buy in £).

I have also bought the bb-cream but I haven't yet started using it. I still have got my old one from SkinFood.

DO NOT buy the "Jeju Volcanic Scrub and Clay Mask" if you have dry and sensitive skin. It'll dry out your face even more and give you pimples. I tried the scrub and mask after so many people recommended them to me and my face looked horrible for a month! ;.;

Also the "Green Tea Seed Serum and Cream" did nothing for me. I'm surprised that so many people love it. Their sheet masks are awesome, though! I recommend them and Innisfree also have great make-up!

Innisfree is more in line with combo to oily skins, if you have sensitive/dry skin they probably won't do much for you, but IA about their Green tea line, I have super oily skin and didn't do much for me either lol.

Love their masks tho they are a little too filmsy for my careless hands I always rip them off somewhere lol.

Surprised the Eco Science eye cream isn't on here, I thought it was one of their raved about products (I use it but I can't really tell if it does much for me, lol).

That blur powder sounds interesting; I'm new to the concept of HD powders, are they worth trying? :o

Not Belgian but there is no problem with shipping to Europe, I usually got mine order within 10 days. If You have any specific question ask, I orders Korean products for more than a year from many different sites.

i have or tried most of the products here and for the most part they are great. i would totally recommend the no sebum powder (i have the loose powder version), bought it about 6 months ago and use it everyday and it's not even half way finished! great value for money. it keeps my skin matte for about 4 hours in the summer, after which i reapply, and that is an absolute miracle because similar products usually only last 1 hour or so on my skin.

the volcanic mask is great as well but it can be quite drying. what i usually do is steam my face for 10~15min before applying the mask to make sure my skin is ready for it. also, don't leave it on for longer than 15~20min and use a nice moisturizer after it. i usually apply the greed tea pure sleeping pack after, since it is super refreshing and moisturizing.

i use the eco sunblock no sebum version almost everyday and i absolutely love it, it's just like a milky liquid that blends well into my skin and doesn't make my face oily at all. it's great for humid hot weather.

to add to this list, i would like to mention the bija anti-trouble lotion and face wash, they work wonders on my skin and smell amazing.

oooh and innisfree nailpolishes ♡

I ordered the bija anti-trouble cleanser and toner and got it yesterday and I hope it'll work as well on my skin as it seems to do for you. I've been having so much skin trouble since I came back home from Korea since I switched to a new cleanser that I found in my local drug store and it does nothing for my skin at all :(

I got a sample of the apple cleansing oil and the smell is nauseating tbh. It smelled like artiticial green apple but 10000x stronger. I can't remember if it was good lol.

My mum likes the hand creams from Innisfree lol. I like the capsule masks but more so for the novelty factor. I don't think their masks, even the sheets, do anything for me.

MTE on the apple cleansing oil. the smell is so unpleasant I can't believe they have't change it yet.

The cleansing oil is so so imo. Like I remember it took a hell of a long time to remove my MAC foundation and having to stand the smell as well was an awful experience lol. I stuck to my Camelia Oatmeal cleansing oil, works better and its less than half the price of the Innisfree one.

Stay away from Innisfree if you have acne prone skin, sensitive skin, dry skin. Their formulations are more harsh and catter to oily, combo or mature skins imo.

This list is super lazy tho half of the products are not even their best products but the post is probably sponsored so no surprise on that.

I swear by their No Sebum Mineral loose powder to set my foundation, it works as good as similar western high end powders and cost a fraction of the price. I always stock on them lol.

Their mascaras are surprisingly good as well, if you are like me who can't hold a curl they do a good job in giving a natural look and holding a good curl as well.

Thanks for letting us know about the white cast as I have trouble with a lot of the suncreams/sunblocks because of this.

Have you tried anything else before which doesn't leave a white cast or make your face look ashy?
Thanks

I love green tea seed oil but it became too heavy for my skin once summer started :( I had a feeling it caused a painful breakout and made my rosacea worse. Weirdas it wasn't the first time i used it, maybe it was the benton toner? I cut both products from my routine so idk.
Serum from the same line takes a long while to dry... I have a sensitive skin and feels sticky, I haven't noticed anything grear after using it.
Same with canola honey serum, I used it on days when I felt my skin was dry/dehydrated and sometimes it would make my face cream roll off my face?
I recently stocked on their masks yay, you can't go wrong with them.

Do you mean the green tea seed serum? I use that and it absorbs really quickly for me even with my face slightly damp, right after cleansing.

i used their bija anti-trouble lotion and it seriously messed up my face within one week. i checked the ingredients on cosDNA and it was a disaster. so many potential acne triggers in a product that's supposed to help your acne! T_T their green tea and green tea seed lines didn't do much for me either.

but like i said in the previous beauty post, the waterproof microcara is perfect. basically i'm into most of their makeup products lol. i also liked their red wine sleeping pack but i've stopped using products in tubs.

I'm so glad I read this, I had their jejubija cream in my ebay cart. I've got sensitive skin and I'm SUPER acne prone (if I drink soda, I pay for it the next day..lol.).

It sucks that you had put that stuff on your face.

I love Innisfree quite a bit, even if I'm not actively using any of their products atm (apart from some of the lipsticks). Their sheet-masks are lovely.

It's weird; I used to use a full Korean-style routine, but ever since I knocked my routine back to just a cleanser (su:m37 MRCS) and a moisturizer (Benton Steam Cream) my skin has been pretty perfect. I want to add products back in (esp hydrating ones) but I'm nervous about ruining a good thing.

Also, have any of you guys used COSRX's products? I have their AHA/BHA toner but I'm wary about starting to use anything too acidic on my face.

imo their makeup seems to be better than their skincare line, at least for my skin. love their cushions, lipsticks. the green tea mist is good too, i use it to set my makeup.

green tea lines don't do much for me, i have really dry skin and they don't seem to help. i used a sample of the serum and i think it aggravated my skin :/

i really want a good serum that actually moisturises my skin but idk where to start.

ive tried most of these. i really like innisfree as a brand but i also have really hardy skin that doesnt react badly to anything lol so. my fav products are the no sebum powder and their sheet masks. their green tea night cream is also my fav moisturizer to use in the summer, its a really nice soothing gel

every few months they have a 10+10 sale on sheet masks (i think its going on rn) and i will buy sooo many things lol. i bought like 100 masks from their last sale and am set on masks for life basically. and i made extra accounts to take advantage of their special offers for referring a friend just so id get more samples lmaoo

so weird I just took off a hydro gel mask, I was running late so I had to do it at my desk. Ahhh faces feels so nice.
I wanted to try that clay mask so I guess I will, so many goodies.

The green tea line was just ok for me. I have combination skin, and used the green tea seed cream and samples of the rest, and it feels nice but ultimately not too different from my usual moisturizers. I like the middle 3 honorable mentions more than some of this list.

I like their sunblocks, espeically for the BOGO free price. I don't find the mask too drying after a 20 min use (again, combination skin here) but I like using clay masks as a drying spot treatment, including this one.
