“오글오글” (ogeul-ogeul)” is slang for “corny / cheesy.” it comes from the word “shrivel up,” referring to how we curl our fingers and toes as we cringe at something corny and embarrassing. jonghyun has mentioned very frequently that he doesn’t like how popularized this expression has become, because people are too swift to look down on genuine expressions of emotion as being “cheesy.”

daemyung street is located in daehangno, which is a neighborhood in seoul. naksan mountain is also in seoul.

jonghyun: when you listen to the song you will know why i kept asking “is it going to rain? is it going to rain?” (recently). (…) even though the stories of listeners have influenced the song it’s a song that i wrote for myself also. this is a song that i wrote with my wefreaky friends. you can call this a “collaboration”. (s/n: wefreaky is a collaboration group that jonghyun created with a group of his friends from high school.) (source: cosmicsticks)

jonghyun: the reason why the title is “2:34am”? i was on my way to meet friends. it was around 2:34am when i got there after i finished blue night. my friends were already very drunk and we talked about this and that and recollected memories of our school days. so, i wrote a song about friendship. jonghyun: it’s a song that i wrote a long time ago. a long time ago when this season of “the man who composes” started i spoke about it, that i already wrote one song and was preparing for it. that song is this song. it’s about friends, so i thought our blue night family members would be able to relate to it and i tried to diclose my friendship with my personal friends (through it). this song was also produced with the wefreaky team and i wrote it along with a friend called heuk tae-ssi. so, you can see it as a collaboration with wefreaky and heuk tae-ssi. they gave me a lot of help and, even though it’s a lacking song, they helped to refine it. jonghyun: actually, in the demo version, the telephone part at the beginning wasn’t as gentle / sweet. the tone was a little offensive, had stammering and sounded a lot more… drunk but, for blue night listeners, i changed it to seoul dialect and made it more gentle. (source: … me, lmao)

it'd basically been confirmed by the members at the end of june but jonghyun confirmed on july 8th here that they finished filming the music video for their repack! presumably either last week or the week before. it's slated to be released in the last two weeks of the month.
