VIXX to Visit Orlando for Solo Concert This August

Popular boy group VIXX is once again headed for a solo concert in the U.S., two days before they’re scheduled to perform at KCON New York on August 8.

This time, the boys will be performing at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida, marking the group’s first visit to the sunny state.

Doors for the August 6 performance will open at 7:30 p.m. local time. Tickets, which include hi-touch and photography passes, have already gone on sale on Ticketmaster, and ranges from Zone A to VVIP.

This will be VIXX’s third solo tour in the U.S. after “The Milky Way” in 2012 and a second tour in 2014.

KPop concerts generally ask a fortune. Someone said it's because the promoters and company include the cost of the group and staff's travel as a factor for the ticket prices.

Though I think Zone A that has no perks being $100, only $50 below a ticket with hi-touch pass is too much.

Yeah, the price for Zone A is definitely too much. My max would be $80.

Same and most other Kpop concerts I've seen charge in that range for no benefits just come in for the show tickets but Jazzy Group is some other breed of demon so -shrug-

I live about an hour from Orlando. I am so tempted to attend just to show support (I don't really follow VIXX) so that more Kpop acts may be encouraged to come. But those prices are ridic.

For Chicago, I remember hearing about it being really disorganized and the translator did a really bad job. She only translated two questions out of all the question that was on a board, and when she was translating one of the question, she actually stopped and asked Hyuk for a hug. He seem a little taken aback, I can't remember if he did or not. from what I heard, vixx members weren't too happy, because when N would go to speak and he would finish waiting for the translation and there wasn't any, he was visibly ticked off.

At the NYC one, it was a bit better, the sound system was shit and man was Ravi not happy about that one. He actually at one pointed looked over towards where the sound people were. The translated did a much better job and N seemed really pleased with that. But the one thing that was really messed up was there two girls that are in a facebook vixx fanpage had gotten a chance to work along side the Jazzy group and Jellyfish, they had plan certain things out, like during "Somebody" we held up signs for vixx, they put that together. They also, with their own money, brought a cake for Leo. They wanted to personally give it too him, but was told by a staff at Jazzy that they couldn't and that she would give it to them instead. Well it turns out that the woman tried to take complete credit for the whole thing, AND that they two girls actually could have given it to Vixx, but for some reason didn't let them. Also people had paid for special items and didn't get them like weeks week later after the concert. The VIP ticket holders were told that they would get to do the HI touch first, but then at the last minute Jazzy made it so that the first 150 people(that kind some kind of other ticket, which was cheaper then the VIP ticket) would get a chance to do the HI touch. I still had fun. but that company needs to get it together.

It wasn't Jazzy group that did those showcases it was Limelight Entertainment.

I remember some of that stuff, they had contests going then dropped the contests. Did random lottos for hi-touch after saying only the people who bought a certain ticket would get it. Merchandise was a huge hassle and they initially offered some ridic packages without confirmation from Jellyfish.

I went to the Chicago COncert and there were definitely organization problems BUT as soon as the concert started I forgot about all of that and HAD A BLAST!!! Vixx gives such good fanservice it feels as if they really do try to look at each and every person there.

I would do it again anyday. Hope you have fun!

I am worried about the venue tbh. I have been to House of Blues over 20 times, and looking at the seating chart........ VVIP is the pit, VIP is the bar area...? (Which tbh depending where you stand, you can't see anything in some areas back there.) and Zone A is the balcony.... Which is tiny?

IDK.... I just went with the cheapest tickets because I really want to go... But I have heard horror stories about Jazzygroup in the past, and I am also on edge because the tickets don't make any sense. I mean, seriously.... 90% of the venue is the VVIP and VIP tickets...? IDK.

You are correct about the seating chart. It really seems weird for it to the the reverse... most "VIP" seating is up top and the cheat tickets are the pit. They must *really* have some faith in the Orange County population.

I would love to go but I'm about an 6 hour drive away. I would definitely go if I can split a hotel with another girl or 2.
I probably can get a really nice Marriot suite in the area around $120 -140 or less because my sister in law is a manager and gets a 'friends and family' discount. So I guess 60$ for 2 girls and less for 3.

Yay Orlando! I live 10 minutes away from the venue (any other Disney cast members in here?), I don't really know VIXX but I'm just excited that a kpop group is coming. $100 is a lot for me but I saw on the promoters Facebook they were looking for volunteers so I put my name in to do that, just wanna help make sure it goes well so more groups will come! They keep saying tickets are almost sold out? If true that's insane because tickets have only been on sale for a few days and HOB isn't exactly a small place. Still exciting!

I live in the bay area so I can totes do this buuuuuuuuut those tickets for HOB are fucking crack prices. I've never spent more than $50 for a show there.

Like, if I'm gonna pay $100+ I better be getting cushioned seats, not packed standing GA.

I just need to be by the bar with enough room to get low if they perform Light Up the Darkness tbh.
