Something that’s right in front of your eyes is sometimes the hardest for you to see. Jang Ha Na (Ha Ji Won) and Choi Won (Lee Jin Wook) have been lifelong friends. Through thick and thin, they’ve been through many things together in the nearly 20 years of friendship, including relationships that each has had with other people.
Approaching her 30th birthday, Ha Na receives an email from Won that jokes about the “symptoms of premature aging.” Angry about the widely held belief that men are like grapes that turn into a fine bottle of wine as they age while women are like grapes that shrivel up into raisins, Ha Na makes a bet with Won that she can get married first before they turn 35.

Will Ha Na and Won be able to find their true loves or have they been blind to what’s been there all along?

Date: 2015-07-06 07:33 pm (UTC)I don't buy in this version that they have been friends for such a long time and there hasn't been some moments of doubt before (I mean for both parts at the same time), meanwhile in the taiwanese version it really felt like they were just good friends. But I'm sure I'm not being objective because I have a soft spot for Ariel Lin.
And I just watched I Need Romance 2 and sometimes I get confused because with the same actor and all the things about being friends for a lot of years, I'm not sure what things happened in which one lol

Date: 2015-07-06 07:53 pm (UTC)But if you found his character in this drama frustrating, I think you would do it too in INR2. The character is really similar, know the girl since kids and his in love with the girl but for some dumb reason (like in all kdramas) he keeps acting like he doesn't. Except that in INR2 starts after they already had a relationship.
Watch it. I wouldn't say that is a specially good drama but I liked it more than INR1, and it is on par with INR3. In my opinion haha

Date: 2015-07-06 07:40 pm (UTC)Won is so gd obvious about his feelings for her that it's getting irritating. 17 YEARS? I'm very curious about his excuse.

Date: 2015-07-07 01:06 am (UTC)As for acting, he was also not a very good actor, but very tall and cute.

Date: 2015-07-06 08:22 pm (UTC)LJW also lost some weight from his face which makes him look older. I actually thought he was closer to 40, i was actually surprised to find out he was born in '81. This kinda makes their high-school scene look slightly ridiculous.
Idk i was ok/happy with the casting when they announced it (tho Gong Yoo/Jun Ji Hyun would've been the most ideal) but i'm not feeling them in the end product so i'm not interested enough to watch it and potentially ruin my love/enjoyment of the taiwanese version.

Date: 2015-07-06 10:53 pm (UTC)i definitely think gong yoo / jeon ji hyun would have been so ideal... sigh imo altho the script is pretty bad, i don't think even they could save the korean version.

Date: 2015-07-08 11:46 am (UTC)they're getting desperate bc ratings are so bad in korea rn so they're trying to appeal to more overseas markets (used to be just japan, but now it's china and taiwan too) with lazy remakes.

Date: 2015-07-07 11:56 am (UTC)I think people don't talk about it/don't notice it easily because 1) as i've said her face was already V-shaped 2) it was barely noticeable before she dropped weight but now imo it looks very unnatural.
Edit: i forgot to mention with 2) that she obviously didn't do it just prior to this drama, she did it at least a few years ago it's just more noticeable now because of weight loss.

Date: 2015-07-07 01:09 am (UTC)I prefer the swoon worthy moment of coming to her rescue when she was losing face infront of exbf, just by showing up and giving her company. This swirl turn around to protect her from the water splashing is so overplayed rme.
I really wanted to like you because of the leads Show
